Stayed her in May 2020. When arrived at the hotel noticed proper barriers as well as a cup with disinfected pens and a container for dirty pens. Plenty of hand sanitizer throughout the property. We had a 2 bedroom and it was clean and very spacious. My only complaint was the bagged breakfast. I know it's because of Covid but it would have been nice to have some choice of breakfast laid out and have staff members place it in bags/trays.

Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your stay with us. and we are delighted you enjoyed our spacious two bedroom suites. During the pandemic we understand our offerings were limited and met the Marriott protocols of what we were allowed to offer our guests for breakfast. We were not allowed to let guest serve themselves at that time. We hope if your travels bring you to the area you will choose to stay with us again.

We had a few families meet here in 2019 for a mini reunion. We decided duplicate the trip in 2022 and we had a fantastic time once again.
Finally was able to use my Marriott suite night awards and was upgraded before my stay to the 2 bedroom suite.
The staff is what makes this place special. The check-in staff (and manager) are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. They even went out of their way to get us kosher food (we didn't even ask - they noticed the yarmulkes and went out and purchased cereal they knew was kosher). We were touched.
The only negative is that the housekeeping is not back to normal service. They blame it on "covid" but it seems more likely a staffing/financial issue. There are absolutely no other covid restrictions so why would that affect housekeeping?
Also when they do service the room (every 2 days) it's only a "refresh" and does not include changing the linens or even vacuuming (though they did agree to vacuum our room after some polite begging:)
Overall, though, this hotel is wonderful. The staff is so friendly and accommodating that I can't even justify taking off a point for the lack of decent housekeeping. We hope to be back again soon.

Regarding the housekeeping Marriott just rolled out a new program that every 2 days we come and refresh the room and unfortunately vacuuming and linen are not included in this part of the program. I am glad however we were able to take care of that for you. This is a very nice hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, the rooms are nicely decorated, the wi-fi is excellent and the excellent free breakfast makes staying here over other local hotels worthwhile. We recently also stayed at the nearby Marriott Courtyard and the Residence Inn is by far a much nicer hotel. If it costs a few dollars extra my advice is to stay here. We stayed New Year's Eve and returned to the hotel early after dinner with friends. There was plenty of security to make suure the guests weren't awakened by loud partiers returning to their room. The staff and management here cares about their guests.

This property is very outdated. Now let me clarify the lobby and downstairs and common areas are up to date but the rooms are not. The website shows a nice up to date hotel but it’s misleading. The price wasn’t adequate either compared to other Residence Inns. Upon check in I was given specific information regarding room/tax and incidentals and that was all standard. The young man that checked me in was extremely professional and kind he was the only good thing about this experience. I will not get into the specifics of how awful the staff was including Bekki the so called “general manager” who wasn’t. I was charged excessively and then locked out of my room for refusing to pay for the upcoming week after settling my bill each Sunday. Each person that I spoke to have me different information that was different from the info received at check in. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. The carpet was beyond dirty. The kitchen cabinets and dishwasher were falling apart. The bathroom was simply outdated. The ceilings are disgusting, the air filters have never been changed. The phone didn’t work and there wasn’t a clock in sight. The clock on the microwave didn’t work either. There was a weird door in the room that lead to who knows where. I requested housekeeping once a week and even then the trash wasn’t emptied and linen wasn’t changed. Carpet wasn’t vacuum and the floors wasn’t mopped. Very sticky and dirty from the time I checked in.
Overall this was not a great experience and I will not be returning to this property. My biggest disappointment was not receiving any assistance from the ambassador desk with the insane amount of charges ran on my credit card. My advice keep a close watch on your payment method and check other properties in the area. If collecting your points is a priority, there are other Marriott properties in the area.

The room was beyond filthy - ants, huge clumps of dust flapping on the vents, hair everywhere, the tub didn't drain to save its life. Twice they charged me fees they were not supposed to and when I called to ask about the charges the front desk staff was off the charts rude. Now have to deal with cc disputes. So bottom line - go across the street to any of the other hotels available, which is exactly what we did. Literally anywhere else will be better than this.

We stayed in this hotel for ten days to quarantine after traveling to Cleveland in March 2021. The first weekend, there was noise in the hallway all night with doors banging closed, and smoke alarm going off in the room across the hall. We believe there were a couple of parties in rooms on our floor that weekend and the hotel allowed this. On the Saturday night, we finally called the front desk and asked, should we pack up and go outside due to the smoke alarm across the hall. We were told, "sometimes after a shower ..., this guy was smoking in his room ..." and "what do you want me to do about it? WTF, really? Finally the people moved out of that room and the smoke alarm was quiet for the remainder of our visit.
We had at least three sleepless nights out of the ten due noise outside of the room windows from adjacent room's heating or air conditioning, and our refrigerator was very loud. With a one bedroom suite, we were in another room with doors and still kept awake. We had to keep the windows open all the time due to the room temp being 72-75 deg all the time with our heating/AC unit turned off.
One other very strange thing. The hallway our room was in has no stairwells anywhere near to exit from in the event of a fire. The nearest stairs were all the way at the end of the adjacent corridor about 200 ft away. How is that even to building code? An elevator is NOT an emergency exit.
One more thing, the door to the unit had huge gaps in between the door and the frame. I don't know how that could pass code inspection. I don't believe this door could be fire rated.
We will be contacting the hotel management to discuss these issues.
If you want to feel rested and safe DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL.

Providing the highest level of hospitality and comfort is our number one priority and we sincerely apologize for the issues with noise at our hotel over the weekend. We do everything within our power to prevent disturbances occurring from our guests, everyone has to sign our guest comfort policy upon arrival, we verbally inform our guest that we have a strict policy regarding parties and other gatherings, we have security on Friday and Saturday nights that patrol the floors up until 4am, we contact the authorities when necessary to evict anyone not following our policies and we address issues immediately to prevent any further disturbances.

Booked a 2 bedroom suite which was perfect for my larger family. Although slightly outdated, hotel was clean and well appointed. Kitchen was stocked with all utensils/items needed to prepare meals if needed (no food). Staff was friendly and sensitive to social distancing needs. Location was perfect. Always felt safe. Close to both business and residential areas. Close to freeway, grocery store, fast food and chain dining if needed. Would book the property again if needed.

Stayed here with my wife and kids to show my kids where I grew up and take them to Euclid beach. We booked a 2 bedroom suite so the kids had their own area.
The room was spacious and the overall property is nice and the staff were great. The room however was dirty, dusty and gross. The couch smelled. The chairs are stained and worn down. The beds are firm and uncomfortable. The entire HVAC system is caked in dust on all the registers. The bathroom ventilation fans are caked in dust as well. The room was overall musty. The doors didn’t close to one of the bedrooms, the other had a split door frame. Tvs are nice but small for 2022. Overall it was an okay stay but I’d never stay here again.

The service was good in this hotel and it accommodated us nicely with a two bedroom suite, however the carpet and baseboards were very dirty and it certainly needs updating. I will only look for hotels that have LVT in the future. The bathroom also needs updating.

This place is an absolute dump. I think it may be a homeless shelter or a low income housing project. I see that the prompt is listed for sale and estimated $200k per room for needed renovations, which is an understatement. The kitchen cabinets are literally falling off. Do not stay here.

coleenmcadam, Thank you for your feedback about your recent stay with us. I am sorry you felt that way about our hotel but please know anything as such stated in your review is something that as a property, we have no control over. Those are all things that are handled by our corporate office so this review would be better served being sent to them and not us. We on property can only control the guests experience as well as maintain the property as much as we can until we get our renovations which we know we are due for. Like many other hotels and businesses, we are still trying to come back from Covid when it comes to the renovations of the hotel. Again, please know this is not something that we can call the shots on, on property, this is a process that takes years of planning before if comes to fruition. We appreciate all reviews, but we also appreciate being reviewed on our staff and service as well because those are things we as a property have control over. I truly hope that we can host you again on your next visit to the area.
