Every room comes with a bed, and my bed was just fine. You also get One bar of soap and a small shampoo.
Every room comes with a cooking surface, refrigerator, and microwave. If you want a glass or a fork or a plate you can get them from the front desk. You can use the fridge to make your own ice, because there is no ice machine here. There’s also no free breakfast available here. There’s no coffee available here.
But the bed was just fine.

Neil, thank you for your review and for sharing your feedback with future travelers. We are happy to know you had an overall pleasant stay with us and that you slept well on our comfortable bed. However, we regret your disappointment with our grab-and-go breakfast not being available during your visit due to current circumstances. Kindly know, we have a full-size refrigerator that includes ice trays for your convenience. Therefore we do not have ice machines on our property. On behalf of everyone here, we look forward to welcoming you back soon for an even better experience. Sincerely, Hotel Management

The staff was very friendly, accommodated every request I had. Always greeted me with Good morning or have a great day! My room was very nice and clean. The stove top was rusted, which I didn't need to use. I was informed they are in the process of updating things!

After seeing all of the reviews that were either 1s or 5s, I figured I would weigh in. My experience is generally based on staying at Residence Inns/Fairfield Suites -- which can easily be twice the price. Probably more expensive because they have a breakfast and dinner buffet (which I never/rarely took part in as I try to make my own, healthy food), and because they clean it every night (not necessary in my mind).
Extended Stay America seemed to go after just offering a kitchenette and a decent room for a very good price. They met that goal in my eyes. Nothing spectacular, nothing tragic.
Lobby gal was checking in/chatting with a nice young man. She didn't really acknowledge my presence. I can imagine it must be challenging for the management team. How do you teach manners and hospitality and common courtesy to some folks who may have never experienced it themselves? The young man mentioned she should check me in first, so she did (I made reservation thru hotels.com) -- and I thanked him. Once she turned to me, she was polite and efficient. Small tweaks to her training, she could be vastly improved. It doesn't take much to make for a good impression by simply saying "Hi, I'll be right with you after I check this gentleman in."
I was there only briefly (Mon & Tue night) to check it out due to wide ranging positive and negative comments on TripAdvisor. The lobby showed some construction worker boot footprints (maybe add a bristle brush outside to help), but it was a rainy evening. The hall rug was clean. The room was very clean and nice. Bed and towels were fine.
Regarding the kitchen. When I come next time, I now know I need to bring: real glasses (not plastic) for beer/wine; real knives so I can prepare meals; a coffee mug that doesn't seem so industrial. You get the picture. It seems that they stocked the room for folks who don't really use the kitchen to prepare meals from scratch. So if you just heat stuff up, or barely want to cook anything, then it might not matter to you.

They have rodents and then pretend like they don’t know anything about the trifling issue. They don’t want to refund your money back knowing they would never live in those conditions. Any room they move you to is never clean, and then they look at you like you’re asking to much when you speak up..They have all types of drug addicts in and around this place it’s definitely not safe.. You get what you pay for!!!

I give this Hotel a ZERO rating! For 22 years I was on the road at least 10 or more months a year. Stayed in countless hotels in this country and thirteen others. This is the worst hotel experience of my life! My family and myself, drove for two days to get to Cleveland from Oregon for a new job. We needed a place to stay for appx two months to get our house sold and find a new one here. We have two pets, they required a $300 pet fee. We got to our room dead tired to find a crappy sh*# hole! There was a hole in the wall, dried food on the outside of the refrigerator, a cabinet door missing, what looked like semen stains on the bed ruffle, it smelled like old sox in the room, carpet was stained, no shower curtain, and overall very dirty. We complained to the front desk and they moved us to another room that wasn’t much better. We all woke up with strange rashes! The following night was even worse, at 11:45 a party started two rooms down. I didn’t complain until a half hour later at the front desk. He said he would quiet them down. 12:45 it’s still going, I call the front desk and he was surprised they hadn’t stopped. He went to tell them again, that didn’t work either. 1:30 am still going. I called again and he said he would kick them out. They left, but now 2:20 am and they’re in the parking lot outside my window wit the party continuing. I told them this is my last night, we’ll be checking out tomorrow. When I moved from NY to Oregon I stayed in one of these hotels for five months, and it was a wonderful experience. I wouldn’t stay in this particular hotel again if the rooms were free! The website made me give it a one star!

Booked through expedia and have been booking through Expedia for many, many years now with no problems. Received confirmation number and went to check in and front desk stated, " yes, I do have your reservation for 2Q bed, but I am sorry I do not have a room for you. Front desk attendant had not a care to what was happening and stated "you can try to look for another hotel, but good luck everything is basically booked. Maybe it was a blessing, they did not have a room, as the lobby had an oder and pretty unclean.

Thank you for your review. We are disappointed to read about your experience and apologize for the issues you had with your reservation. This is not the level of service we generally provide, and it certainly does not meet our standards. We are reviewing this with our front desk team to see what went wrong, so we can avoid this in the future. We hope we have the opportunity to make it up to you on a future visit. Sincerely, Hotel Management

Gross...the entry is littered with cigs butts. Hallways strewn with trash. Rooms have dirty fridge, microwave, dressers (lined with hair) leaky tubs and faucets and the cleaning between guests NON EXISTANT. Dirty floors, dirty counters I could write my name in the dirt next to the microwave. Hair in the bathroom too. The clientele slam doors at all hours of the night, always people sitting out in their cars in the parking lot at midnight and early morning hours. Property strewn with trash in all the landscaping. Just don't...

I walked in and asked to see the room. The receptionist took my credit card. After I saw the disgusting room decided to go elsewhere. She gave me the refund minus a one-day stay (10 minutes does not make one day!) Had to call guest services to get the refund. I think the room had never been cleaned, dingy, bedding dirty and when I said the bed cover was dirty the clerk said that some spots don't come out. Thinking about it makes my stomach turn. Please sleep in your car, probably more comfortable and cleaner.

This hotel is disgusting! Lobby smelled like an old ashtray and the room smelled like old socks. Not even sure what was going on with the phone..something pink and slimy and possibly pubic hair. Beds were small..definitely not queen….and hard. Pillows were flat. Booked for a full week but checked out second night. Could not take the constant skunk weed smell outside. Also had to contact management directly as they wanted to charge me $170 for each night which is completely outrageous considering there was absolutely NO amenities…not even an ice machine. I did get that reduced but not to what it was worth which was about $75 bucks a night. Even though this hotel is in a nice neighborhood…it seemed like more of no tell motel. If I could give it negative stars I would. I will never stay at another Extended Stay Hotel again. Totally horrible experience.

North, definitely. I wandered into north first, thinking it was the south location. I would have been perfectly happy with that one. South is several notches down from north in quality and general upkeep of the property.
