While the staff was very nice and we were able to sleep fairly comfortably, therefore many things wrong with our stay last night. We had paid for a queen size bed with free breakfast. The room that was a bit better than marginally clean, had a double bed and the breakfast was horrible, granola bars and plastic-wrapped mini muffins. They called it 'grab and go', but i wouldn't call it breakfast. We did not feel like complaining there and had to rush out to get a real breakfast at the Original Pancake House nearby, which was very good! No, I probably won't stay there again.

Only stay if you do not care about cleanliness. Very dated suite with broken cabinets. The lamp shades had layers of dust and lint. The floor looked as if not mopped in weeks. Only 2 pillows on the bed. Tons of dust on the tv stand. The free breakfast is a scam. You only get pre packed muffins and coffee. We regretted our stay and glad that we only booked for a night

Worth the price tag. Had a newer style room as compared to mgmt photos. Breakfast was very weak, no coffee pot in the room as compared to pictures. It was clean, well staffed. Outdoor look is impressive. I would likely return. Good location for other food/beverage options nearby. Close enough to walk to these sites but I would not suggest it due to heavy traffic.

Made reservations and payment three days in advance. Was given a room a check in that had not been cleaned. The linens were all piled on top of the bed. When we retrurned to the front desk, we were told there were no available rooms. The were four others waiting who had prepaid non-refundable rooms who were told there were no vacancies. We were left stranded near midnight when we had a prepaid non-refundable reservation. Deployable business practices overbooking prepaid non-refundable reservations. It is obvious that they are more concerned with maximizing profits obtained by double selling rooms than they are the customers. Never again will I book with ESA.

We just arrived at the hotel after having made a reservation days in advance and were told they were sold out and had no room for us. The man ahead of us had the same experience except that he had fully prepaid his reservation and he too was turned away. I don't know why, on earth, a hotel has this as a practice as they apparently know how to TAKE a reservation, but don't know how to KEEP a reservation. I recommend that you only make a reservation here if you are ok with not having a room when you arrive. Totally ridiculous.

Entering the room after checking in, the room smelled very stale like it hadn’t been used in forever! The hot water knob was stripped on the bathroom sink, it couldn’t be turned on so no hot water to wash my hands with! Every room is suppose to have an iron and ironing board according to the website, this room didn’t have an ironing board! This was my 1st and last time giving E. S. my business trust and believe! How the bathroom knob was missed is beyond when the cleaning staff had to attempt to use it when cleaning the room last.
I also noticed the 2 trash cans outside the front entrance had not been changed all weekend I threw a bag away on Friday and it’s still there Sunday when I checked out.

The room was clean and spacious. Much better than the westlake location. Really nice staff. Good sized beds. Great location. No complaints. Loved that there were defined areas. Room was larger than I expected. Very comfortable. Definitely would come to this location again.

Hm. How to best deter any future unwitting victims from setting foot in this nauseating, filthy dump? I've no idea, as in all my 48 years of fairly extensive world travel I've never had the misfortune of checking into a hotel or motel as shockingly squalid and VISIBLY filthy as this execrable hellhole. A night lying facedown in a Tijuana gutter would be preferable - and at least it wouldn't cost me $140. Think I'm exaggerating? I'll just give you a couple examples - with photos - of the most overt nastiness and you decide. The toilet: an enormous cascade of urine on the side facing the bathtub - various other...substances on the front and other side, as well as black...growth? inside the bowl. At the base as well as the joint where the lid closes there is plenty more. A veritable cornucopia of filth. The faux hardwood floors have countless readily apparent - no, glaringly obvious (you couldn't miss them if you tried) soiled areas. I can say with 100% conviction that it had been a week/weeks since the floor was given even a perfunctory 2 minute wipe down with well, anything. I direct your attention to my attached photos. I dampened a washcloth and ran it over the floor. It took me all of 3 seconds. You see the result. I'll allow you to imagine what would come up if the carpet were ever steam cleaned. Shameful and an abomination. I've been trying to contact the hotel directly to ask for a refund but the front desk wouldn't give me his/her name and say they don't have contact information. Walking in from the outside looks nice but that’s where it stops. The doors are dirty, the floors don’t seem like they are kept clean. Walk into the elevator and they are disgustingly dirty, the you walk into our floor and it doesn’t look like anyone vacuums, then we walk into our room and the cupboards were not clean, hair in the drawers, a lot of dust, then we opened the curtains to see our view, curtains were broke and then saw a hole in our screen. Windows can open to a screen, but the screen was not completely shut and tried to close it, got it close but could not get it to lock. Then we walk into the bathroom and there is a smudge on the wall and well you can guess what it is. Oh and lastly the “breakfast” that we are supposed to get, ends at 9:30? WTH who ends breakfast that early and oh mind you it’s only a couple different breakfast bars and a muffin, it’s a grab and go style.
The bed was comfortable and the ladies who work there that we have come into contact have been very nice, so the human interaction was great.

Ok so if you stay here you know you are budget (incidentally there are two Stays on this road, I was in the north one near the Red Lobster) and I have no problem with that as have stayed in many such places in diff parts of the world. As long as it's clean and there's something that resembles breakfast and staff are helpful all is good. I am just staying for a short time so don't need too much. But I do expect my room to be...well, mine. So about 02.30 in the morning my door opens and a young family come in. Well I only see their young daughter (and am pretty sure she doesn't need to see some old man half asleep in what she thought was her room...) and hear the parents. I say sorry this is my room they apologise in return and off they go.now I am wide awake and start doubting myself. Am I in the right room?
So I half sleep all night already feeling jet lagged and wake up early. Can I leave anything in my room? Actually when I go down to get breakfast in the morning - which is not great but refer back to how low I set my budget expectations - I find I am locked out again. The young woman on the desk is apologetic and resolves it quickly. In my world your room should be just that, yours. People coming into your room in the middle night is bad enough. Getting locked out in the morning is adding insult to injury.
