The stay was amazing. The front desk staff - Ed, Suzanne, Shelly and Rob- was very helpful. The stay was for a family reunion/bereavement event and it was awesome. Jenna Clark from Sales was also a huge help with getting a block of rooms. Everything was great including the free breakfast! Will definitely stay again.

We had to be in Cleveland for a funeral. We had no problem getting a reasonably priced room here, on short notice. I opted for a king room, which was on the second floor. Check in was quick and easy, thanks to Ashley at the front desk. At the elevator, there was an antibacterial wipes dispenser as well as an antibacterial gel dispenser. Great for protected button pushing.
While our room was near the elevators, there was no discernible noise. Bed was very comfortable. We did not use the comforter/bedspread, but there was a top sheet and a bottom sheet. We brought our own pillows. Room was spacious, and spotless, as was the bathroom. I have two things to nitpick: I am not a small person, as I have a 38" waist. The shower, even with the bowed out shower curtain, was a little tight. Ok, maybe that's on me! Also, why only have a vent instead of an exhaust fan? But, if you've read my other reviews, you know that shower water temperature and pressure are my hot spots, and these were excellent here.
At any rate, due to the Covid, the free breakfast is not a buffet. You place an order the night before, and it's bagged and ready to pick up during breakfast time. They didn't get our orders perfect every time, but close enough. Selection was good enough, and we didn't go hungry.
One other thing--I'm pretty sure our room had its own heat and air. We had our own thermostat, and the vent was right next to a cut-in in the room. We felt secure and confident in the Hilton cleaning protocol.

I found the Hampton Inn to be a quality place to stay. I have stayed here a number of times over the past 5 years and the standard continue to be high. The staff is pleasant and makes you feel welcomed from check-in to check-out. My room was clean and I felt that they were responsive to the COVID issues. The wipes to disinfect table surfaces beyond their own cleaning certainly helped to me of their care for travelers. I found the complimentary breakfast to be an added benefit. There were hot and cold options. That helped to create a good start for the day. I certainly will return to this place on my next trip to Cleveland.

We stayed at this hotel because of location. We drive up often to visit the Grands. The youngest was having a birthday get together near this hotel.
Short story, shorter, this hotel has great esthetics and that's the end of the line. The rooms are underwhelming, old, and in dire need of an upgrade.
My biggest disappointment came at breakfast when I attempt to get a glass of juice from the juice dispenser. The machine wouldn't dispenser, I was finally able to get the attention of the worker, who was in the back on her cell phone, who told me to "just press harder", I did and it didn't work.
I get her again and she, appearing bothered, repeated the same instructions. I did, no juice. She stated, well it must not work. I asked her to try. She reluctantly did and while pressing with the heal of her hand so hard I could see the tension in her hand she was able to make it dispense.
I said thank you she said nothing and returned to the call she was continuing and returning to the back.
The bottom line in this is when I reported the incident it was clear to me that this "attitude" wasn't unique. They've clearly had an episode with this associate before. After the decades in multi-level retail management in certain of it.
Spend your money where at the least they try to hide their true feelings....

We recently stayed on the 5th floor of this Hampton Inn. We have stayed here a few times, and I was happy to get a renovated room on this visit.

We were here on a Saturday for one night, so we did not experience any construction noise. Ed checked us in, and when we mentioned being in town for the JCU Commencement, Ed and the other clerk at the desk made sure we got the discounted JCU rate. We really appreciated that. I chose a room and did online check in on the Hilton Honors app, and we got the room I chose. A 1 king bed room.

The room is no longer full of brown tones . The carpet is tones of gray. The blue and green accents brighten up the room. There is a large tv over the dresser. The bed is a bit firm, but it was comfy. The a/c is controlled by a thermostat. There is no a/c unit under the window, so it is blowing from a wall vent. It was a little loud.

The window coverings move from top to bottom, not side to side. You still get black out curtains, which we needed to keep out the parking lot lights. It was very quiet during the night as far as not hearing any other guests in the hall, or next to us. No noise above us, either. Plenty of lamps. A nice new sofa. I recall the last time we were here, the sofa was ripped and stained. I put a blanket over it before sitting on it. This hotel definitely needed to remodel.

All bathroom soaps and lotions are in dispensers. I felt the hand soap was a bit far from the faucet. It was awkward to me. Breakfast was still plentiful and they offered bottles of water to all guests. I enjoyed our stay.

Front desk was very accommodating had my room ready early for me due to wedding starting at 4 on a Friday . We were here to stay because of a family member's wedding great location in walking distance of other restaurants and other activities . I would recommend staying here again . I will be back to stay again .

This was my first time at this Hampton Inn with my hubby. I was greeted as a HH member. Given bottles of water. I was also given the room I had chosen on the Hilton app when I did online check in the day before my arrival.

We had a king studio suite, which was nice because we had 2 family members come to the hotel before we went to an evening event. We relaxed in the lobby with them, then went to our room and had seating there for all of us. The room was very clean. The bed was comfy. I usually do not have issues with Hampton Inn. Usually there is a consistent quality to them, and this Beachwood location was clean and the staff friendly. It had the consistency I was looking for.

We needed extra bed pillows, and those were sent up to our room right away. We did not need the sofa bed, but I did notice there was no bed sheets or pillows for it in the closet.

There were a few other people visiting in the lobby. A couple people were a little loud, but there was no noise or loud people during the night when we were sleeping. Noise was an issue at the Homewood Suites in this area, so I was glad we had a much quieter experience and a good night’s sleep at Hampton Inn.

If you value a good breakfast, this is the place to be! It seems like years since I have seen so many food choices at a hotel breakfast. The hot food, a variety of dry cereal, fresh fruit, oatmeal, a waffle maker, muffins, and hard boiled eggs. Many condiments. A selection of juices, coffee, tea, and ice water. The coffee and hot tea service is near the front desk, and is available 24/7. If you need something, just ask! The ladies at the front desk are happy to help. The young man attending to the breakfast area kept it all clean and well stocked.

This will be our go to hotel in the area. We will be visiting a few more times this year, so I’m glad we have found a hotel that works for us. I would recommend this hotel to others.

From check-in to check-out, you will feel warmly welcomed and thanked for staying here. ALWAYS! The front desk staff is responsive to any concerns or requests. I have never had problems of note at this property. The rooms are very nice; and will, in a couple of years, need renovation. But, for the present, the Hampton offers an oasis of sorts for travelers needing respite from meetings or the road.

I stayed at this hotel for two days this week. I really loved it! The hotel was much nicer than I had anticipated. The pillows on the bed are awesome. They provide nice little amenities such as mouthwash and a shower cap in the bathroom. The staff was fantastic! They were so warm, friendly, professional, engaging, knowledgeable and helpful! They have a big breakfast area with TVs and a lot of different breakfast options. I would definitely recommend this place to others!

Upon entry into this hotel, it is clean and the lobby and breakfast areas are up to date. However, the red and gray carpet and window
treatments have been out of date for many years and desperately need to be replaced along with the furniture in the rooms. In addition, our room was on the highway side and noise interfered with sleep. Also, the toilet seat was too small for the toilet and slid from side to side and pinched our legs. It appeared to be clean, staff was friendly
and breakfast was different every day. We will not stay here again until it is updated.

When I stayed here in May, the breakfast consisted of cereals, bread for toast, bagel and fruits. There were also hot food selections that changed daily. They offered scrambled eggs, potatoes and sausages (there were a couple others that I cannot remember). They also had waffle makers available. Hope this helps.
