The Hotel Indigo® Cleveland Beachwood hotel brings you the best of our city (we're minutes from world-class shopping and dining), as well as inspired service, including expert advice on the quickest route to hotspots like Legacy Village and Beachwood Place, plus local favorites off the beaten path. Our hotel's own Hyde Park Prime Steak House has been an award-winning Cleveland tradition since 1988 and among Zagat's highest-rated for years. Our outdoor patio, complete with fire pit, is a cozy place to gather with friends on a chilly Ohio evening, while the beauty of Cleveland's greenspace jewels- the parks of the Emerald Necklace-are close by, as well.

We stayed overnight in a suite.
The room was clean and the beds comfortable.
The hallways were quiet.
The parking was ample and the location was near restaurants and stores.
We were pleased with our stay.
The ice machine was not working or out of ice. That was a bummer.
The in room refrigerator worked very well.

Our second time at this location, not quite as good as the first...one of the benefits of this location is that rooms look out to an unoccupied courtyard; one of the negatives is that you really hear it when the next door neighbors are loud - walls and doors are thin, and the front desk didn’t help quiet them too much.
On site breakfast (not included) OK, but service was a little slow.

We were very pleased to be assigned an accessible room as requested. We stayed in 217. The room had been renovated and was lovely with new furniture, a great bed, bright furnishings, BUT the air conditioner seemed old and outdated. The door to the room was difficult to open and close and lock. There is a small uneven lip between the bedroom floor and bathroom which was a tripping hazzard for me.
The room needs more places to plug in our things to charge them. The closet was great and there were big drawers, as well, for our things.
The worst part of the room was that the water pressure in the shower was terrible. I have not experienced this in a 4-star hotel before.
There is construction still being done in rooms in the same hallway, so perhaps this is the reason for the terrible water pressure.
I hope the hotel fixes these issues. it will really be a lovely room.

The toilet was clogged. Obviously, they never cleaned the bowl of the toilet like they should after each and every guest otherwise they would have noticed the last guest clogged the toilet. I checked in in the PM and didn't use the bathroom until 1 in the morning as I was getting ready for bed and was too tired to bother with getting maintenance involved that late at night.
The next day I noticed the rest of the issues. The sink barely drained, the walls in the bathroom were gross with streaks of a dark brown or dark red smear on the walls, and when i stepped in the shower and the water started going down the drain, the rank smell of sewage came up through the drain.
I would like to say at least the staff was friendly, but they seemed obligated to have to help customers.

I had a stay at this Hotel Indigo property in September. I normally stay at Marriott properties due to the loyalty benefits; however, I decided to give this property a shot.
I arrived at the hotel on September 16 for a 3 night stay. I informed the front desk agents that I had two reservations, one where I was the primary guest on the reservation, and another where I was the secondary guest on the reservation. They both were pleasant, courteous, and informed me that they had linked both reservations as one stay and that all I would have to do would be to possibly have my keycard redone.
On September 17 at approximately 11 am, there was a loud banging on the door disregarding the privacy sign stating "housekeeping." I informed the housekeeper I don't need service and she asked if I was a stayover and I replied yes. A few minutes later I received a call from a front desk agent named Tiffany, that informed me my stay was one night and demanded I check out since it was past checkout time. At the same time I was on the phone, the housekeeper came back banging on the door. I informed Tiffany I had two reservations and this was all taken care of yesterday. Tiffany continued to claim I had no reservation and violated additional privacy guidelines by providing me the name of the guest that was supposedly booked for the room I was in. After actually doing some proper due diligence, Tiffany saw that I had two reservations but demanded I come down to the front desk immediately to provide the same card again for incidentals, despite it being on file since it was past checkout time. I informed Tiffany there is a lack of professionalism in this hotel and she replied "I am sorry you feel that way." She provided me with a new key, told me "it was rude to snatch the key," and abruptly dismissed me. While walking away, I couldn't help but overhear her relaying my guest interaction with her to other guests of the hotel.
The last night of my stay, I decided to utilize the second bathroom (which was not utilized at all during my stay so far) and discovered a disturbing sight of a glob of hair in the shower. This prompted me to inspect the remainder of the room for proper cleanliness and found caked in dust and potential mold throughout the room.
I have stayed in hundreds of Marriott hotels this past year alone and clearly trying out a competitor's brand was a clear mistake. I have never encountered an agent so rude, unprofessional, and obnoxious during any of my stays throughout all of Covid, nor did I receive an apology from anyone at management.
I reached out to the GM "Cynthia," via email, who very clearly did not care, stated the "owner of the hotel overheard the conversation," (the owner was nowhere to be found when I inquired about the GM or the owner when I was downstairs), and did not apologize for anything that occurred during my stay-the rude behavior or the lack of sanitary conditions.
Stay far away from this hotel, management could care less about the behavior of their employees, nor do they care about the sanitary conditions of the hotel. Also the rooms were tired and are in need of renovation. There are better, nicer hotels in the area.

I wish I had read the other reviews on this website before booking a stay in this hotel. It is located close to the interstate which is a plus and the bed was comfortable enough for a night stay. The cleanliness deserved not stars. Hair was still in the shower and on the drain. Mold accumulating on the caulk and dirt in the grout. Everything else in the bathroom was filthy. It was clear that it had not been cleaned. Because it was already 1 in the morning and my family and I were leaving at 6am, I gave the shower a quick scrub down with our own cleaning supplies. Upon checkout, no staff at the front to discuss the state of the room. After waiting 10 minutes, we called loudly and the front desk receptionist finally came from the back appearing to either be tired or hung over. Not sure which but we left the key with him and left immediately. Will not be staying here again

The front desk staff were polite. That’s the only nice thing I can say about this hotel.
Upon arrival I was given a room that reeked of rotten food. The fridge smell was horrific. I was then given another room on the fourth floor. The elevator is extremely slow and the noises it makes have you concerned you will make it to your destination.
My new room 404 is in sad shape. Holes have been spackled over on the all but not sanded or painted. The furniture is stained and damaged. The USB ports do not work so you can’t charge your phone. The large wall mural is covered in a mystery substance as well.
The bathroom has mold in the shower and the toilet cables are growing mold and who knows what else.
The heat system doesn’t work correctly either. I got my own blankets from my car to cover the bed to sleep in.
I was staying at this hotel with a colleague so I wasn’t able to move hotels. Overall this hotel is in desperate need of some general upkeep. It’s no where near the caliber of hotels I love like Hilton, Hampton, AC, or the Drury which are all at this same exit. They also don’t offer checkout digitally or digits keys.
Sadly this hotel needs a desperate update. I would not stay again.

This hotel was so nice and the lady Sierra at the front desk was lovely. We stayed in a suite. It had a living room area with bathroom and shower and a separate bedroom with another bathroom and shower. It was very quiet. Would stay here again and the Indigo was awesome

Aaron at the front desk had impeccable customer service. He was very personable and quickly answered our questions about the area with a smile. The entrance area was clean and attractive, and the bed was really comfortable. I liked the green space in the center of the hotel and I will recommend the hotel to my friends who travel with their pets.

The place was clean. People were pleasant. Sofa in our room was sadly in need of replacing....sunken seats. Darn Direct TV never did work right, kept cutting out, saying no signal, although we reported trouble with it at 9am, front desk person indicated she'd have someone take care of it that day, and we didn't return until 10pm. The only bar is in the attached restaurant next door, which closed at 10pm.
