The hotel itself is in need of some updating and TLC. The staff was friendly and helpful. The halls were a bit noisy and the beds definitely needed replaced. It was reasonably clean. Not bad for what we paid.

A hotel with character. i spend a fair amount of time in hotels on business and after awhile they begin to all look the same. The McKinley is different. It may be old but it is well maintained. The rooms are comfortable and clean.

The HOF is about 3 miles away, less than 10 minutes drive. We were able to check inearly because our room was ready, but if you can't check in, there are some small art galleries, coffee shops, and restaurants nearby.
