The Tudor Arms Hotel Cleveland - A Doubletree By Hilton offers a fusion of classic elegance and contemporary amenities, which has garnered appreciation from numerous guests. However, some travelers have reported inconsistencies in cleanliness, with certain rooms praised for their style and upkeep, while others were found unsatisfactory. Hotel is dated but staff and location make up for it. The shuttle drivers,Stacey Gina and James, were like tour directors with helpful recommendations and knowledgeable suggestions and just friendly people. The entire staff was very friendly and made our stay very enjoyable

Room clean, spacious, beds firm and comfy, bathroom clean and updated. Exterior WINDOWS need to be washed specially in the restaurant and the FRONT of the Hotel.
Shuttle a great service to help you move around if need to. Mediteranian food dinner/lunch tasty and flavorful and you don't have to go little Italy (which was $$$$ at Mia Bella and nothing to brag about) or downtown which is also on the $$$$ side.

We're thrilled to see that you enjoyed your stay. We'll admit, Cleveland weather has wreaked havoc on the exterior windows and as soon as the weather warms, we are on track for a window cleaning. We'd love to see you again soon!

I loved walking into this hotel, it is lovely. The people who work there, also lovely. There was a great guy giving historical information and you can see how this was once and opulent building.
The room, not so much. It was dusty and dark. We got a one room suite. The bedroom was nice, the living room was dark, with very poor lighting and full of dust in the corners. There was a wood floor. The bathroom was nicely appointed but smelled. We ate breakfast there and although it was good, the table was sticky and it just felt wrong. I take my sister to Cleveland Clinic 2-4 times a year and typically stay at Hilton Hotels. I have made reservations with other hotel brands for future visits. . We have not been back.

Recently stayed at the Doubletree in Cleveland on Carnegie Avenue to attend a wedding. We had to change rooms due to filth displayed on floor, desk, woodwork, tv, mirrors etc. We ran into the same situation in the second room.
No brochures, or information on hotel and city.
Front desk failed to inform guess that room cleanings occurred once every three days. Placing calls to the hotel, and during the stay, Staff failed to answer phones routinely.
Hotel has a rodent problem as well.

Doubletree this hotel needs to be padlocked until ready to serve the public.
Your reputation is at stake.

Stayed two nights on business and enjoyed my time at this hotel. The architecture is very interesting and you should take a trip to the second floor to look at the two ballrooms. Would love to see and learn more but there was no literature available. Michael, the front desk attendant, was very helpful and provided quite a bit of history from the time the hotel was built as a gentleman's club to the present day. Fascinating information and I appreciate his time and knowledge.
The cafe does not open until 7:00 and the continental breakfast is woefully lacking...fruit and muffins for $8.00 is not worth it. The hotel needs to have coffee and tea available for guests at no charge.

My wife & I reserved a double-queen bed junior suite for two days ($330) while going to the Cleveland Clinic. The online photos depict this as a charming & classy hotel - it's not. It is a rundown dump; old & tired. The ventilation system does not work. The tiny bathroom is smaller than the one in a motorhome. The shower sucks. We were cold; the only source of heat was two of those cheap portable fake electric fireplaces that are sold in Walmart; on a cold Cleveland night they were totally ineffective. The air quality was so bad we couldn't breathe; a strong flowery spray had obviously been heavily used and it permeated the drapes, beds, pillows, linens, etc.. The sofa was old & dirty. This is not a charming boutique hotel. We spent the night gasping for air, shivering due to the cold, and checked out at 5:30 AM.
The onsite Mediterranean restaurant is also awful; I ordered shishkabob and received four nasty slices of cheap beef that had been soaked in tenderizer with four small slices of zucchini over cold rice for $28; my wife's chicken was straight out of a restaurant supply frozen box. This place and its restaurant truly sucks. STRONGLY NOT RECOMMENDED.

Maybe this review will prompt someone from the hotel to return my call about being double charged for a one night stay on Feb. 11, 2020. I stayed one night , and the charge for the room rate was posted to my credit card on Feb. 12. A second DOUBLE charge was posted to my credit card Feb. 15. I called the main office, and after a woman answered I got passed along to another woman, who said nothing but passed me into a man’s voicemail. I left a message and my number, and despite assurances from the voice recording that I would receive a call back within 24 hours, no one has called me back for several days now. The double charge still appears on my credit card. Basically, the hotel has charged me an extra $118 and it appears they could care less. I believe this arises out of the cluster that is Hilton’s centralized reservation system. Additionally, in exchange for being double charged, I received a dirty room. I found a glob of hair and a plastic wrapper in the shower. Obviously, it was not cleaned. I wanted to like this hotel because it is historic, and so convenient to Cleveland Clinic. But clearly management and customer service are lacking. I want the money back that the hotel improperly charged to my card, FFS. What a waste of my time.

Thanks for the feedback. Our sales manager spoke to you regarding the charge to your card as in error that was made when you booked the wrong dates. We hope that has been rectified to your satisfaction. We have forwarded your comments regarding the cleanliness of your bathroom to the Executive Housekeeper. We would love the opportunity to show you how well-loved our hotel is by having you back as our guest. We also urge you to contact us directly for in-house reservations so as to avoid miscommunications in the future. We value each and every one of our guests and would be honored at to have the chance to make it right.

I travel to Cleveland monthly for work and have been staying in the congested downtown. I tried Tudor Arms this trip, and loved it. My two queen room was spacious and clean. I appreciated rooms with hardwood floors as carpet tends to gross me out. The shower provided the option of a regular shower head or a rain shower. Pressure and temperature were perfect. Ryan, the guy working the front desk was great. I called before checking in to ask for a restaurant recommendation and he enthusiastically recommended several in the nearby Little Italy area of Cleveland. His recommendation of Mia Bella restaurant was spot on. Exactly what I was looking for. When I met him at check-in he was accommodating and affable. He efficiently checked me in and made me laugh. I will stay here again. Parking was also easy.

Anxious to visit this place after researching it, we were overall happy with our visit. We live just one county away and it was just a night away for the two of us. The room was clean, the pillows and bed were SOOO comfy, the AC was nice and cool, the view was awesome from the 11th floor, and it was fun walking around and imagining what it was like back in the day here! Check in was prompt at 4, we tried a few min early but had to wait; understandable. I had the Hilton Honors app, so my key card was attached to my phone and the actual cards did not work, which we found out at 10 pm when my phone died and my husband had to call the desk for help. Although the room appeared freshly cleaned, I always check the beds, and upon lifting the mattress cover to inspect, the mattress itself had huge yellow stains all over the pillow area and a couple by the feet area. Not only stains, but also a lot of hairs and crumbs under the cover. I feel it should be vacuumed periodically and if stained that bad, should be replaced. We tried not to think about it and the cover and sheets were over the area, so we slept really well as it was very comfortable. The bathroom has no fan....kinda odd, and a bit of musty smell in the shower. Parking is an additional $20 which we knew ahead of time and did not mind. The negative part was the breakfast that we paid for when booking, about $32 for 2 guests. We thought it was in "the breakfast room", but finally asked and was told it was in the attached restaurant. The assortment was very small and not worth the money we paid at all. Everyone there was confused to how it worked and the 2 ladies tried to keep up with all the guests but could not. We had to request silverware, butter and coffee, and waited over 20 min for it! There are no fresh eggs as some reviews said. In total, we consumed about 1/4 of a really dry, tough bagel, a few chunks of cantaloupe, and 2 coffees. I really would like the breakfast part refunded, but don't think I'm the only one who felt that way. One man said, "that's what I paid for?" and stormed out of there. I also think I saw a sign that said something about it being only $8...but we paid a lot more during the booking. Overall, we do plan on visiting this hotel again, and hope for a tour!

This hotel is old, refurbished but not modernized. There are no signs to let you know you’ve arrived. The front door is very heavy and there are steps to the front desk. Also an elevator. There’s minimal staff, no outside areas and nothing in the immediate area. The breakfast area is downstairs. The first room I was assigned had toilet paper in the toilet and I asked for another room. The new room had less than a roll of toilet paper and one towel. The room was large and airy and the mattress comfortable. There is no daily housekeeping, which is fine but it would have helped if they told us ahead of time. There are no stores, restaurants within walking distance. If you’re staying there for an occasion in the building or need easy access to the Cleveland Clinic, it’s fine. Otherwise, go elsewhere. We Uber’d to downtown which has good restaurants and waterfront cafes.
