I have stayed at The Cleveland Hostel twice, and I will definitely be back. The kitchen access, selection of rooms and friendly staff make this a legit hostel. The Ohio City neighborhood in which they reside is beautiful. A full-fledge market next door with views of downtown lend to a perfect morning in Cleveland. I wasn't at the hostel in...

My boyfriend and I stayed on a Saturday and were very pleased with our acomodations. We had everything we needed provided. The common area was nice, everything was clean, and the decor was pleasing. That being said a hostel is not for everybody so it's important to consider what you value when booking. My only very small complaint is that...

When we arrived there was nobody at the reception but we got an email informing us about how to get into our room. Very easy and straightforward. One small thing was that it was late night and the vending machines did not have any bottled water left. I had a nice conversation with the cleaning lady that day as it...

My boyfriend and I stayed here on 12/11/2016 for one night and was very pleased. We got a private room. The entire place has a calming and comfortable vibe. It is a short RTA train ride to Tower City/Public Square - it was a great alternative to paying "Downtown" Cleveland hotel prices. No frills, but I don't need all that...

Cute and clean hostel. It's located right in the middle of Ohio City and very affordable. The only complaint I had was how thin the walls were. I heard every little thing during the night. I would recommend for a short stay.

My daughter was in a bicycle accident & I stayed overnight with her at the Cleveland Metro Hospital in ICU. (We're from Michigan). When they moved her to the Trauma Unit I only had a chair to sleep on. So I booked the next 3 nights at the Cleveland Hostel. For only $30. per night I shared a room with...

I attended a concert at the Jacob's Pavilion and wanted a place that was nearby. Since all the hotels were more than I could afford, I chose this place based on the outstanding reviews. The place was very welcoming and clean. I opted for a private room with it's own bath which was more than adequate. There was plenty of...

When you rent a private room like we did, you're probably choosing this place because of the price over a traditional hotel. It is a better deal, but you should understand this is a hostel not a hotel. The rooms have no TV, phone or refrigerator. The beds are low to the ground. You aren't getting soaps or toothpaste or...

Even though the hostel would seem to be in a neighbourhood that might seem a little shady it's very secure and the neighbourhood is becoming gentrified. It's close to a number of good restaurants and coffee shops. If you are interested in micro breweries Great Lake Breweries are located just down the street. if you want to take public transit...
