This is a very friendly and comfortable Bed and Breakfast. Yvonne and Ian are two of the sweetest people and a very pet friendly place. The food was amazing and good conversation made it a very relaxing time. We truly enjoyed the weekend with my sister and brother-in-law. We would definitely recommend the White Oak Inn for anyone who needs...

Recently stayed for a weekend with the wife at this charming B&B. We were promptly greeted by the enthusiastic proprietors, Ian & Yvonne. We did dinner on our first night in town and it was fantastic. Breakfast was great too. Be sure to take a quick walk across the road and visit Butterfly (their sheep). She loves being fed crackers.

We could not have had more fun at the gracious and warm White Oaks Inn! Thanks to Ian and Yvonne for hosting us. It was the perfect place to spend a freezing winter night with friends. The dinner was...fantastic! The breakfast yummy, especially the muffins. The service was very attentive. The actors who came in for the Murder Mystery were...

The Inn is beautiful, the food is delicious and the rooms so comfortable. But the best part was the people we got to spend in with! Ian and Yvonne are wonderful hosts, so very friendly and helpful. It felt more like staying with old friends. The local wineries served as a wonderful afternoon adventure. We also got to participate in...

My wife discovered this place by searching for places to have a "baby-moon." The Inn was everything I was hoping for. We stayed at one of their log cabins (which are located within a 1 minute walk from the main Inn) and it was so spacious and comfortable. The cabin had modern touches but retained its rustic charm. The room...

Ian and Yvonne are awesome hosts at their charming bed and breakfast in the country. The meals were delicious and beautifully presented, with options that are sure to please nearly everyone. The rooms are comfortable and nicely appointed. The grounds are lovely, as well. The real gems, though, are Ian and Yvonne themselves; they greeted us like old friends, and...

Thank you. One of the joys of staying at a bed and breakfast is the opportunity to meet new people and engage in great conversation over meals. We're always delighted when we see our own guests enjoying each others' company.

We have stayed at White Oak several times and every time I leave I want to plan the next trip. It is just an awesome experience. The innkeepers are wonderful, friendly and boy can Yvonne cook. Oh! it is wonderful. The breakfast is amazing and then all day it makes you wonder what the dinner is going to be. The...

My husband found this beauty and surprised me with a nights stay for our anniversary. He booked the White Oak Room within the main house. The day before our visit Yvonne called my husband to tell him he needed to come in from the East because the road from the West was closed due to construction. We appreciated her for...

Thank you Vanessa. So glad you enjoyed your stay and were happy in the cabin. When we put in the two-port amenity dispensers in the showers we chose body wash and shampoo because they are most commonly used items. Generally guests who use conditioner have a favorite brand and bring their own, however we do keep small bottles in the...

This was our second visit to White Oak Inn. We arrived mid afternoon and as we approached the premises it was very inviting. We stayed in one of the rooms in the guest house and had a relaxing afternoon sitting on the front porch watching the hummingbirds flying around. The grounds were well kept. We ordered a "dinner basket" for...

Thank you so much. In addition to the cookbook, the Eight Broads have a food blog and recipe website - 8Broads.com, and a Facebook page. The recipe for the pumpkin raisin muffins is on the website, along with many of our other breakfast recipes.
