The resort is absolutely beautiful and I loved the view of the lake from our room. I was extremely disappointed to find no beach or lake access at the property. We were told we had to go to the state park to access the water,...More
The Lodge is by far the nicest place to stay on the lake! Loved everything about it! Lake front breeze and within bicycle distance of the strip. Really takes you back in time to the good ol days! We're ate at Eddie's grille and the...More

There is a paved trail along the lake into Geneva State Park, past the Marina with boats and the beach. About 2.25 miles long with benches near The Lodge for catching the sunset over the lake. Easy and flat if you are thinking of riding bikes or hiking with little ones.
There are also unpaved gravel/wild trails throughout the park- 3 levels of difficulty from easy to hard, I believe. The front desk has a map to keep you on track! This summer The Lodge is adding a zipline Canopy Tour and Challenge Course for adults and one for kids, so that may be something exciting to do as well.
Also, (I love your name!) there is an Irish pub open on weekends in summer that is family friends and serves Irish food, even kid friendly dishes. Hope this helps!
