Very comfortable resort. Well furnished rooms. There is a beach that can be accessed from the hotel, but it is not a private breach and only open from 6AM to 7PM. The restaurant is good and we can also access restaurant at the Mayfair Heritage property across the hotel. The restaurant staff are very friendly, but the front desk could be a bit more friendly and responsive.
The rooms could be a bit more cleaner as we found remnants of wrappers and throwaways from previous guests. Also the room cleaning people are a tad careless as they left the balcony door unlocked and a monkey entered (there are signs asking residents to lock the balcony doors due to monkeys) after the room was cleaned. It messed up with our stuff and when we came back to the room we complained to the front desk. They told us we should just manage and they can just sanitise the room. When we insisted that we wanted a different room as we were not sure of what sanitizing process they would follow, they agreed to change the room. Due to non availability of same class of rooms as what we had booked, they offered a lower grade room. We agreed, but said they must adjust the difference in billing. They refused and said as we asked for a change of room, we must bear the full cost as per booking!! This left a slight bad taste in an otherwise good stay as we did not want to change except because of the monkey problem due to their staff's negligence.
The hotel can arrange for visit to temple as well as delivery of Maha Prasad to the room.

There are many good things about the property: friendly staff, tasty foods, excellent view provided you're given select rooms under sea view category (if you're checking in into a sea view room category, do check the room before finally agreeing to go for it). Pool is good but the pool rules must be a bit more strict like taking showers before and after getting into the pool. The priest attached to this property is caring and sincere. Three members from the dining worth mentioning are Mr Manmay, Miss Bindu and Mr Krupa. They go an extra mile to make you feel better. The rest of them are kind and dutiful as well. The team at the reception is understanding. Mr Nishikant helped me to get a room with a wonderful view of the sea and the pool. Next time when I come to Puri, I will be going for this property for sure.

We travelled as a family of 5 and stayed at Mayfair Waves hotel for 5 nights, (other party stayed at Heritage). Both hotels are beautifully decorated, well-maintained and perfectly located for both sightseeing and shopping. The beach, on the doorstep, is clean with helpful lifeguards on hand, if needed. There are taps and showers on site so guests can avoid bringing sand into the hotel. The rooms are spacious, well equipped with complimentary toiletries/refreshments and with excellent AC. The facilities are very good, we enjoyed a couples massage which was very reasonably priced. The gym is adequate but does need updating and a number of machines were out of order. What makes this hotel special is its staff - as seasoned travelers, the welcome, the kindness and the hospitality received by Mayfair employees was first class and heartwarming. From the smiles from those servicing the gardens, to porters, front desk, resturant staff and lifeguards - simply remarkable. Special thanks to Pranab, Binduni, Lipika, Ashok, Manoranjan. And a big thanks to Achyuta for always being attentive. We have recommended this hotel to many friends and family. Thank you all for your kindness it will be embedded in our memories.

The Hotel is the younger sibling of Mayfair Heritage and has big rooms with big bathrooms. Very nice and clean rooms. Service quality is top notch. Unlike other Star Hotels in Puri, there is unlimited supply of packaged drinking water. Complimentary snacks and soft drinks are also available in rooms. Both in-room dining and restaurants serve very tasty food but the food rates are quite expensive. What prompted me to rate it Very Good and not Excellent is their misleading reservation portal which has premier room pics with Sea Views. Trust me, there is literally a sea of difference between Premier & Premier Sea View rooms. Our booking resulted in a confusion that was quite rudely addressed initially by the on duty front desk executive. However, Mr. Saumitri Prasad Nath who is the Manager, quickly intervened and assured us of the best services. We were accommodated in sea view rooms after a day. I am surely going back to this property again as I go to Puri quite often and I'll make sure to book a Sea View room there.

We are thankful to Ashok and Bindu, who went above and beyond to attend to all our breakfast and dinner needs, regularly checking in to ensure we were well cared for. Ashok even offered to serve us prasad from the Jagannath Temple in our room, making our stay truly special and memorable.
The rooms were impeccably cleaned, and all staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. The buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options, catering to all tastes. The hotel’s private access to the clean and well-maintained sea beach was a highlight of our stay. Additionally, the room had excellent Wi-Fi coverage, and we appreciated the relaxing lounge with table tennis, carrom, books, and more. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

Extremely comfortable stay in a relaxing ambience. Hygienic and tasty food was provided for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Spacious rooms with clean toilets. The television was working in the room and the staff were very courteous. Prasanta, Chakradhar, Binduni and Jharna were exceptional. Shall come back again.

I always prefer Mayfair when I visit India but I guess covid has taken a toll on the services. Plz buck up Mayfair bcoz I love you.
Here is my feedback. Many staff are ill trained, non.proactive and some outright rude or come across as dull & laid back. Food is way below the standard of a star hotel despite being exorbitantly priced. French fries for my kid had oil dripping from it. They have forgotten table services completely
They lack proper baby chairs and you have to wait for ages till you get one. Room had mosquitoes but no repellent. Swimming pool has no equipments for toddlers. Changing room was dark, dinghy and dirty with no basic amenities needed to wash, change & dry up. Power keeps tripping with the entire place getting pitch dark and we got stuck in the elevator. No food option for kids in the kids menu.
Access to private beach is restricted after 7pm - typically the time when you would love to head to the beach for a stroll because day temperatures are inhuman. Restaurant staff most of them are ill prepared and ill trained.
But plz look out for ASHOK he is one guy with a smile and is super proactive. Most ugly part is phones will keep ringing in the reception, house keeping, room service and nobody will bother picking up. I had to run to the reception to order something for my kid. The balcony of the rooms we took had unclean and sticky floors. It will be nice if you cankeep it cleaner and make the rooms somewhat fragrant.
Checkin was delayed by 15 mins plus...we had to wait in the reception with a toddler
If you want to opt to be in the luxury boutique hotels category then you need to provide the services accordingly. Good luck !

Fantastic food, great amenties, and attentive staff.
There was a skilled local artist brought in to demonstrate the local art styles and showcase his work. Enjoyed talking to him about his experiences as an artist here, and bought some pieces as the prices were very reasonable for the quality of work compared to what we had seen elsewhere.
Also want to commend the staff, Mr Aloka and Chef Baleswar, for their assistance in the restaurant. I’m vegan but was still able to enjoy the full variety of Indian cuisines available thanks to their wonderful service. Thank you!

We were traveling from the US to Puri to meet with our family after 20 years. We were under the impression Mayfair Hotel would be a nice place to stay for the 5 days we were going to spend there visiting the locality. We booked 2 rooms, one for my husband and me and one for my sister. Both rooms had king beds and accommodated 2 people easily with room to spare. While checking in there was a young lady at the reception. She was incredibly rude as if we were bothering her, there was no smile no welcoming greeting, or anything that remotely resembled a friendly reception. She addressed my husband exclusively during the check-in process and never looked up at us. To make things even more uncomfortable for us she completely ignored me when I asked her some questions regarding the hotel's services. The hotel is visibly dated and rundown which was surprising. The lobby area and common areas are not airconditioned, neither are the hallways. We had asked for an oceanfront room however when we arrived at our room on the second floor we came to realize the following morning, that our view was completely blocked. That morning we asked if we could possibly get another room and were promptly told the hotel was sold out. The following day my sister arrived in the morning and checked into the room we had booked for them, and then we all went out for sightseeing. Later that day my sister's daughter arrived after work while we were away and the hotel refused to let her in the room. We called reception and told them we were just returning in an hour can they give my niece a room key so she can rest? After a lot of argument and debate over the phone, they finally agreed to give her a room key. We thought that was the end of that. But we were surprised at checkout with an additional room fee of 20000.INR because my Neice stayed in her mother's room. After many arguments, with the so-called manager, we were forced to pay the fee. as we were running late for our flight. I can honestly say this left us with a memory of a horrible experience in a hotel in India. Stay away from this poorly serviced place. They are only there to extract money from their guests by whatever means possible, with the worst service possible.
