The hotel is already a few years old and could use a refresh
The rooms are quite ascetic, white on the walls, minimal decorations, practical and neat bathroom, marble tiles, and as for the alleged bites, there were mosquitoes on the ceiling, so you should wipe them off before going to sleep.
After arriving at your room, don't unpack right away, because the staff will be happy to change your room, there's a lot of greenery around, there are a lot of restaurants available... the breakfast was good, nothing crazy, we didn't manage to come back for dinner, but that's not a problem because the restaurant by the pools is well stocked
Dinners are good and I think that everyone will find something good, in the rooms you can only get a mineral bottle... in the main restaurant you can refill water, and dinner is good. Drinks at All have a small selection, but the bartender will easily serve you a glass of Raki, champagne for an additional fee is not Bulgaria!
The beach is a fairy tale, because it beats the bay of Mirabello... a beautiful cliff with a cave at the base... you can swim there... there are often ships at anchor, boats for swimming, two discreet N beaches, watch out for sea urchins because they are... on the hotel's beach are removed. Lots of fish, snails and crabs... with a mask and a snorkel there is something to see! There is white/black gravel the size of a rice on the beach, to the right of the hotel within 10 minutes there is a cliff... beautiful views... behind it are beaches with wild descents and steps. A nature corner for nudists on the rock
... I can recommend it and I would come back for a week
... far from the bus, it's probably better to rent a car
Cards for replacing beach towels, exchanged every 2 days... if lost, 15 Euros... although no one asked us to return them... we used them after returning the room at 11 a.m. until the evening and threw them in the container at the reception
There is a room for luggage and the possibility of taking a bath if you do not extend your stay at the hotel (level -1), to quote the book, it is not Hefner's villa, but everything is perfect.
The service was very very nice

Bottle of water every day in the fridge
Bottle of rosé in the room upon arrival
Sea view for room 203, truly incredible (we didn’t ask for anything)
French-speaking fram team well present.
Beach towels provided at no extra charge (possibility of changing every 2 days)
Key safe at no extra charge
Hotel boutique with very low prices
Amazing view from everywhere
Great value for money!
2.5km from Chersonissos (30min walk with some hills) but largely doable on foot. Renting a car is the best option
Lots and lots of stairs in the hotel! Not annoying for us but worth knowing all the same
The -: The indoor swimming pool at the spa is at an additional cost
Overpriced treatments/massage
The swim-up bar is closed out of season (travel April 8-15)
The food is not always very good (canteen type)
Bus stop not served out of season (go to Chersonissos)
But I am not disappointed with my stay, thank you very much

I can therefore conclude by recommending this resort, which is comfortable, characteristic and has an acceptable quality/price ratio. I will definitely come back next time.

No entertainment to speak of and not enough staff to cover each bar, only one person serving so you had to queue in a line and no table service so be prepared to get off your backside and go to the bar in keeping with the boot camp theme. The hotel seems to cater for and favour the French.
There was a Disco down at the beach area one evening but the bar wasn’t opened so you had to climb back up the seemingly endless steps to the reception bar for any drinks, and it wasn’t worth the time and effort and in any case you would have drunk you drink after a third of the way back down.
Smoking seems to be permitted anywhere in the hotel apart from the main buffet restaurant and your own room without any consideration for other guests, passive smoking is more damaging to others than actually smoking and considering this is a family hotel it’s not really children friendly.
The hotel is not for the infirm there are steps to negotiate everywhere, you have to go upstairs to come back down and vice versa, if you are looking for a Boot Camp Stay then look no further.
The beach is very corse stone so beach shoes are a must.
The rooms are dated and most with Shower over baths, the hairdryer is from the 70’s the box a on a wall type that looks like an old vacuum cleaner but it did the job considering that I had a No 1 cut before I came.
Air conditioning unit was recent and worked well. All in all a pleasant stay but don’t come here if you struggle with steps or climbing over a bath to use the shower, or if you are opposed to the French.
Drinks were okay but other than the local stuff you will need to pay.
The hotel is listed as 5 Star and could be with some changes but it’s really a 3+.
The thing that I liked most was you are not given Wristbands.
After three days we hired a car to do some exploring and it’s well worth it as we found civilisation in the form of waiters and waitresses bringing food and drinks to our table we had to pay of course but it felt like we were actually on holiday, we also found moving stairs and our tired bodies were able to have some relief.
After our stay here I’m fit enough to do a triathlon and apply for Gladiators.

The rooms are quite tired and need updating, I have attached some pictures, this was not the reason however, why I would not return to this hotel even if it was free.
1. I asked the room maid for some additional pillows (the ones on the bed were literally paper thin). She said they were none, which I accepted. However 10 minutes later, she knocked on the door & gave me several pillows and asked for money, I explained I didn't have any, I pay for everything via my phone, not sure this was understood but she shrugged her shoulders and left.
2. The cleaning of the room was very very basic, the floors were not swept, the bathroom was not cleaned, I believe the towels/sheets were changed & bins emptied but that was it.
I did speak with reception but it did not improve.
3. We had several brand new Nike T-shirts with tags attached, taken from our room. (I had unpacked our clothes and put into the wardrobe) I reported this to reception, who asked if I had looked everywhere in the room, I said I had, the T-shirts had not been worn yet so I know where they would be in the wardrobe. I was told to return the next day as they would speak with the cleaning supervisor.
The thought that someone had gone through our clothes really left me feeling uneasy so I went back to the room and packed all the 'named' labelled clothes back into the suitcase and locked it.
I did return the next day and spoke to a different person at reception who asked if the clothes were in the suitcase or wardrobe and intimated this had happened before. Needless to say, the T-shirts were not found.
If I'm being honest, this ruined the holiday and has never happened in 40+ years of travelling.
4. Finally, the food - you can see the picture of the raw chicken that I has eaten some of before realising. I took the plate straight to the Restaurant Manager & told him that 'you are going to make people ill if you serve this', no apology, just a nod and I assume went to tell the kitchen staff.
The food in general is 'recycled' from night before, which I understand happens from a cost perspective, but there is no imagination, more pizza, chips, sausage rolls which is fine but not 5*, would have liked to seen some themed nights or more authentic Greek food offerings.
Are there any good points about this hotel? The pools are nice, again could do with a decent clean to get the green scum around the edges and the pool bar guy is great at his job. The sea is lovely (take beach shoes) as some stones/rocks to get into the sea.
Apart from that - no. I've been to Crete previously about 8 years ago and had a totally different experience. I wont be going back again. This hotel very much feels like a money making machine with no care or attention being put back into the hotel.
On arrival we must pay the sum of 90€ for tourist tax. It would have been nice to know the amount.
Unkind restaurant staff who take away your plate just finished and not speaking French at all.
No water bottles available. We must manage to get water because it is forbidden to fill a bottle of water with the fountain of the restaurant under the pretext of hygiene.
For a 5-star, it is unusual to go and buy your bottles of water at the nearby convenience store!
At the bar everything that pays is highlighted to encourage you to spend more.
Food level is not great. The morning pastries are mixed with sausages, lentils, fried onions and more.
Almost non-existent desserts. No staff to serve ice cream. People should make their own ice cream with only two ice spoons for 5 different flavors and that soak in unchanged water from the service. I let you imagine the mix of perfumes in the bins and the color of the water for the containers of the spoons!!
For a 5 star it is also abnormal that you are not served real coca, sprite, fanta.... We are used to going to Framissima hotels and we have always had quality drinks especially in Morocco.
No French channels in TV rooms. Only German, Italian or English channels.
France is not represented at all in this hotel yet Framissima.
Sunbeds from the top pool are almost all broken.
If you want to spend your day at the pool, plan a morning wake-up call as the sunbeds are almost all booked from 7am and often unoccupied for a good part of the day.
No shuttles organized by the hotel to the lively nearby town of Hersonissos located 3 kms away. Possibility to book a taxi for 10€ anyway.
It is therefore imperative to rent a car because the hotel is far from everything.
Regarding the rental of the car with the Fram nothing wrong. Very good service. The company takes the vehicle to the hotel and when it is finished you drop off the keys at the reception.
Besides, there is no air conditioning at the reception. Never seen in 20 years of travel. The poor representatives of La Fram work in overwhelming heat from their offices.
We would like to thank them, we had super detailed explanations about the excursions and the operation of the hotel.
In conclusion, we are very disappointed to have paid a large sum for this stay because a cheaper hotel would have offered so many services.
We do not expect to book our future stays with the Fram. The quality was not there!

Especially the pushy lady at the spa, who kept calling my husband “the boy”. Could be a cultural thing but he is 35 🤷🏻‍♀️
The food and drinks at the buffet were tasty and plentiful, I had no reason to complain and all the meat and fish was cooked beautifully. We had just booked out of the season for the A La Cartè taverna which was a shame. The moussaka on the buffet was amazing, as were all of the Greek speciality dishes. For those who just wanted pizza and chips well…. They missed out on the good stuff but they were catered for.
Annoyingly the all inclusive beers and cocktails are served in tiny cups and filled 3/4 of the way, so you had to constantly go back to the bar.
We went in October so it was quieter than high season and we could always get a sun bed in shade or sun, although the parasols were pretty small so didn’t provide much shade for any length of time. Sunbeds were also pretty tired and worn out, many were broken. Access to the sea was also pretty rough, as there are very large (but smooth) rocks for a good 100m from the beach, so made it difficult to walk out. Luckily the tide was in so I just swam across the rocks until I could see sand - except I couldn’t put my feet down as it was too deep. So spending any amount of time in the sea was exhausting, which was sad. I appreciate this could be beyond the control of the resort but it’s still an annoyance.
The room was reset daily, clean towels and top ups of shower gel etc. Would be nice to have water replaced in the room everyday, as the only source of water was a jug and glass in the lobby. I saw many filling up bottles from the water machine in the restaurant although there were signs asking not to - but there weren’t many other options. A water machine in the lobby would be a been nice.
The back door to our room did not lock, and the front door had issues locking. The room decor is a bit tired, but comfortable enough, and at least AC was working so that was a bonus.
Gardens were beautiful, tennis court and equipment was old and tired.

We had a dirty room, a dirty bathroom, a very dirty toilet.
The rooms are not really cleaned during the stay, they just redo the beds and replace the towels, there are sheep dust, stains on the floor and on the bedding....
The rooms are very poorly insulated. Pension is placed under the airport air corridor and planes fly from 5am to midnight....
There's a smell of sewers all over the place all day.
The environment around the Pension is covered with detritus.
The worst part is the restaurant.
It is extremely noisy, the staff is unkind (with one or two exceptions) and the buffets are frankly mediocre, not even at the level of a school canteen. You have to consider yourself happy when you find a table and even happier if there is food left after 8:30 pm. Anyway from 9pm they prepare the room for breakfast and make us feel that they are embarrassed and that we have to leave.
In short, if you like to live in dirt and noise while eating m... on German schedules, this Pension will be perfect for you if not run away!

The architecture of the hotel is nice but here is the only positive...
For everything else, go your way...
Old and outdated rooms whose furniture is out of age and damaged...
Questionable cleanliness... in a week, the bathroom sink and the floor were not cleaned... sheets too small for the size of the bed...
Room located on the back of the kitchens: foul smells as soon as mealtimes approach.
Dining room of the main restaurant resembling a college canteen of the 70s. Catering staff pushing metal carts to clear tables, loudly. Plastic garbage cans placed on carts with garbage food...
Disgusting pool restaurant.
Swimming pool and beach equipment (sunbeds and umbrellas) from another time and broken... rusty table tennis tables...
Often unpleasant staff... including an odious waitress at the pool bar near the page.
Very bad experience. Inn to flee and FRAM too!
