Our annual Christmas get together. 22 of us sat down to a lovely meal. Service was brilliant and very friendly. Food excellent. Most of us chose the traditional Christmas fare but other choices were offered. We've already booked for next year. Well done all Stratton House.

Saturday in November. Checked in heating not working but soon resolved. Haven't seen wood chip on a wall since 1980. Came back to room at 10;45pm to booming disco couldn't sleep till gone midnight. Not happy. You go to a hotel to sleep asked to be moved but no better rooms available. Would not recommend this place. Rubbish.

Have been to the Stratton many times for meals which were excellent,so when we were going to London for a relatives birthday we had no hesitation in booking a room for a night, which we did on Saturday 29th October. We found the room very clean and had everything you would want, the check in was very easy. The breakfast was excellent...

I stayed here for two weeks on a work outing last week. The room (Number 7) was a real surprise on entering, much more spacious than expected and to a really good standard. Unfortunately, the joy was rather short-lived as at around 3am the central heating started making noise not too disimular to a 1920s American gangster movie with machine-guns....

Thought this would be tatty and horrid 80s vibe. It isn't! Room 21 (see my pics) had good view of some lovely old Bedfordshire buildings. It was clean, fairly spacious and tastefully furnished. And it had a bath! And the sash window worked. Here for partner's school reunion. As he's 14 years older than me I dipped out of the...

Stopped here yesterday, on arriving the hotel looked good from the outside and I thought should be ok. But on getting my room key I couldn't believe my eyes it was shocking, dirty/filthy carpet, bathroom like something from the 80's, no head board on the bed just pushed up to the wall, no milk with coffee just loads of sugar...

Ground floor room was dated and small, jacket potato was hard but breakfast decent. Reception staff friendly and helpful. No replacement of bathroom and tea/coffee items for 2nd night until requested.

Worked at a wedding at the Stratton Hotel, a pleasant enough stay, small wedding of 17 people who enjoyed themselves. Small conference room was allocated to the wedding party and they had a nice meal.

Arrived for a stay as we were visiting Shuttleworth and had been recommended to stay here. The room was big, No.16 though up 3 flights of stairs, not a problem for us. Clean with all usual facilities though no shower curtain. Pleasant staff greeted us, we had a light lunch again staff were very welcoming and helpful. When we arrived...
