I chose this hotel as it is a cheap price. At first you are welcomed and told where to find your room, which is ok.I only stayed 1 night as i attended a wedding do in the town, when i arrived it was daylight so i didn't need any lights but when i got back later that night it was quite late and...

We felt very delicate the morning after staying at the Crown, having been to a party the night before. We were offered pints of water to rehydrate and hangover food by the friendly family who manage the pub. The Crown will be refurbished in the next couple of months so will be an even better experience when it is finished.

Enjoyed our night here. It was good value for money and the man running the hotel was lovely and very welcoming. We didnt eat or drink here so I cant comment on that. The rooms looked a little tired but are due to be refurbished soon. Some little extra details would have made the stay a bit more special, like...

We had need of a bed for one night to attend a party, the new owners who are very nice people gave us the surprise room, the surprise we thought was the mirrors in the ceilling which were fun, more interestingly the hotel seems to have some playfull spirits as the wife was woken by an invisible stroking hand on...

Rooms could do with a bit of upgrading but very clean. Good pub grub and real ales ! New management couple are very friendly and helpful. Enthusiastic to say the least. Good value for money as a base. Nice market town.

It was 81 degrees F in Biggleswade during the day, I noticed this in the nice antiques shop thermometer round the corner from the centre. Our room was probably 181 degrees. We paid £60 for one night, and didn't even get a fan. Our room was like a sauna, and there was no one available to provide a fan. Just...

We booked in weeks in advance, 2 double rooms, one with a baby cot. I also asked for the rooms to be next to each other. A few days before I phoned to confirm and they didn't know anything about the cot request but assured us it would be sorted out. Check-in was from 12 noon onwards but when we...

This hotel either be knocked down or totally renovated. Stayed here for one night to attend a Birthday celebration. Thank God it was only for one night. Tired hotel with awful decor and was totally speechless to find we had a mirrored ceiling! It seems like they decided to make the rooms an en-suite? And... I use the term loosely...

On arrival my first room had no curtains. I asked to be moved. The second room was even worse. Broken shower, no hot water, no heating, kettle didn't work. In the morning there were about 25 chairs blocking the exit to the stairs which I had to climb over and to top it of no-one around to provide any breakfast...
