Stayed there recently and found the staff very friendly and helpful. Was going to eat out locally but because the food was so good we decided to eat in their restaurant every night. The breakfast, again, was excellent, with plenty of choice. Stayed in room no. 5. very nice but the only drawback was that the loo was right next...

I had to think long and hard about the scoring. I think it should actually be a scoring of good but that is not available and it was better than average despite my comments. Great location. Checked in early by very friendly staff. Room was a good size, light and airy, clean and tidy and welcoming. Bathroom a little small...

If you enjoy good food you expect to pay for it . We have eaten here twice this year and love it. I`m a vegetarian and the rest of the party are meat eaters. On both occasions I have come away extremely well catered for. Staff very polite and the setting can be fine dinning (although I didn't see this...

A good location on the fringe of the town within easy walking distance of all the shops and restaurants. I found the staff very polite and accommodating and the breakfast was very good indeed. I didn't have a lunch or dinner so I cannot comment on either. The room was spacious enough and clean, with all these accolades you must...

Really nice breakfasts, pleasant people -- but..... It would have been nice to have been told before we arrived, that all food service stops at 2.00pm. After a 5 hour drive we arrived at just gone 2.00 in the afternoon of New Years Eve and we were obviously peckish. After unpacking we popped down to the bar and asked if...

Stayed over Christmas, but it was a shame we were not informed, when booking, that, on Christmas Day, the staff are sent home at 3-30pm and the public areas are closed. We were left lovely sandwiches and snacks and were able to order drinks to take to our room, which, whilst ok to sleep in, was not particularly comfortable to...
