Ideally located for accessing the town centre and all the surrounding amenities. The cottage is beautiful, clean and comfortable throughout. The owners are lovely and so easy to deal with and will do anything to ensure you have a lovely stay.

This was my first visit to Honeycomb House although my husband has visited a few times. The appartments are tastefully decorated and in an excellent position just a short walking distance to all amenities. We chose to book appartment 1 which is all on one level as stairs are a problem for me. Just two steps lead into the lounge which were manageable. At the rear of the property is a lovely little courtyard.

Our stay was in the ground floor apartment of the original house and being very fair have given an "average" overall rating. We've stayed in better places for less money.
Location was fine and probably the best thing about the place. From the description on "Booking.Com" we expected wi-fi, sea views, toiletries etc.
All of these were virtually non existent, plus on arrival we had to clean the bedroom floor of gritty footmarks which in itself is not a good welcome.
In addition, we mailed and messaged the owner twice on the first evening about another minor matter but he ignored both attempts to make contact. This in itself soured the whole trip.
Having complained to the owner about these issues, and the fact that he imposed an additional cleaning charge which was not part of our agreement when booking, he said that the property description was over the whole property and not individually tailored to any apartment. This only allows a customer to have false expectations, as we did.
Arrival times were set later than I have ever experienced and departure times very early also. I'm sure the owner would hide behind current conditions and the need for improved cleaning but this is easily solved by the cleaning company hiring more staff not depriving the customer of time in occupation (and the demand that clients strip beds prior to departure!!)
The worst of these issues is that the owner ignored requests for assistance. I could never recommend that anyone supports such a person in business.

The flat was clean and big enough for us (2 adults and 2 kids).
Pros:
Nice rooms. Main bedroom was separate with en suite and sky lights ;
Comfortable and clean;
Central location, could easily walk to shops, beach, arcades, chip shop etc.
Lots of DVDs to borrow which was nice.
Cons:
Children’s bedroom was floor below ours and next to front door. There was no way to lock the door from the inside and my daughter accidentally went out into the hall a couple of times so couldn’t relax when upstairs and had to barricade door with chairs. Not a problem if you don’t have young children though.
Spiral staircase up to main bedroom again a bit dicey for little ones.
No usual welcome guide with suggestions for where to go, eat, important numbers etc. Had to work it out a bit and ended up with a parking ticket as wasn’t sure where to park :(
Point to note, we were flat 3 on 2nd (top) floor which was fine for us but would be difficult to use with stairs up to flat and spiral staircase up to main bedroom if you had mobility problems.

Recently found this little gem on another site and looked Bramble Cottage for a long weekend along with two dogs.
Prior to arrival we received the keys to the property well in advance of our trip. Upon arriving in Hunstanton we were able to find the property quite easily and also the off street parking, although this is only a small parking area !
The cottage is very light and airy and very well equipped, there were adequate seating and the bedrooms were large and adequate. We also liked the little touches such as board games, dvd and music being available, although seeing as we had a glorious weekend of weather we didn't stay in much. The property is central to hunstanton and the beach and shops are only a hop, skip and a jump away.
We will be booking again at this property and the price was more than reasonable.

Honeycomb House is in a great location, the apartment was very clean, modern and relaxing with sea views. The owner was very helpful and communicated well with regards to checking in and the property had available car parking spaces which was really useful.

Three hours in to my little break away with 3 of my grandchildren and I can say Honeycomb House apartments are superb. Wonderful friendly welcome, cosy apartment right by the beach, facilities & most important chip shops! Couldn’t ask for more; lots of games & stuff for the children to do in the evenings or if the weather is against you. Lovely kitchen with all I need if we get fed up with seaside chips. Would definitely recommend for families or couples or just a break on your own...am thinking this would make a perfect get away for my writing!

We stayed here for a week in September and stayed in the cottage.
The cottage its self was spacious and clean and in a good location.
On the first night the smoke detectors went off and would not stop. The were four in the cottage all going off and one time plus all of the other alarms going off in the other three apartments. All residents vacated and we called the owner. He drove from Norwaich to check them out and explained that they were all connected.
The alarms went off every single day usually first thing in the morning 8.30 ish. We did not cook breakfast once so they were being set off from the other flats. No lie in for us.
I did contact the owner of the property via both email and numerous phone messages but he did not reply. The alarms were unbelievably loud and for small babies, pets and the elderley they could do some serious damage to their hearing.
The property had a microwave but no instructions and of the four adults that stayed there none of us could work it out.
The main bed was super high and would not be suitable for people with mobility issues.
It's such a shame as the alarms and the lack of communication from the owner really let this place down.

My wife and I stayed in apartment 3 on top floor. Lovely spacious apartment that has a double ensuite bedroom up a curved staircase which is spacious & bright and a walk in shower. On the ground floor is a decent sized lounge/open plan kitchen which is clean and bright, a bathroom with bath/shower & toilet, and an extra room with two single beds in. Overall, can sleep 5 as there is a camp bed in the apartment if required. Honeycomb House has lots of character & can highly recommend this place.
