We stayed at Morston Hall the night after Valentine's Day! Always a better bet. This was our first visit, our room was delightful with every comfort and cosy with it.Drinks at 7.15 a perfect Hendricks Gin and Tonic served. Gorton Blackiston our Michelin Chef greeted us all and promised us a taster menu to remember. The dining room was very comfortable...

Food was sublime, loved it all and staff friendly and informative. Thoroughly recommend. Hope to return. Canapés through to chocolates with coffee all great and unusual. Veloute really lovely, mackerel with beetroot tastier than expected. Roast lamb with vegetable super and chocolate dessert extraordinary.

My husband and I visited Morston Hall for afternoon tea. We were expecting 5 star service and taste. Unfortunately we were offered an extremely small table which we had to juggle cups sauces hot water etc around on due to very limited space. Food was average, we have had much better afternoon teas in the area. Disappointing and overpriced.

This was well worth the 5hr drive from Brighton, first thing I have to say is what a lovely lovely man Galton Blackiston is and genuinely interested in whether you are happy and your thoughts on the food. Discussing turnips over breakfast and 'borrowing' recipes from Holland made our day. Our room was impressive, large comfortable bed, tv to watch...

Our first visit to Morston Hall and hopefully not our last! We were made to feel very welcome by everyone from the minute we arrived until we left (feeling extremely full!). We could not fault anything but the food was just exceptional and even more enjoyable accompanied by the 'wine flight', a selection of wines chosen to complement each course....

Having just visited Morston Hall for the second time, once again the food was outstanding and every mouthful was an explosion on the tongue and each course was amazing. The staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Certainly a birthday to remember!

Our room was lovely, newly refurbished. We had two nights of Galton Blakistons tasting menu. The first evening was superb. Seven small tasters with home made bread. Breakfast, also lovely, very fresh ingredients with own smoked fish. The second evening disappointing. Different taster menu. Very forceful guests who opted for the wine with each course. We didn't and paid the...

Checking was effortless and we stayed in the sandringham room. The room was excellent, very warm , hot water , plenty of room , bed comfortable, plenty of storage and spotlessly clean. We participated in the tasting menu which again was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful

I booked a Pavillion room for my husband's birthday. We had a fantastic stay with dinner and breakfast. Check in was a breeze and we had our own parking space for the room. The room was beautiful - large, spotless and the bathroom was one of the best ever - I would love to stay for longer to really make...
