The air is full of roses here. My friend and I had a magical 2 day break staying in the West Wing. Tennis, cycling, beaches, gardens open skies, surrounded by beauty and nature. The house is lovingly cared for with every thought to detail and it has a really wonderful feel, very clean very comfortable' . The beaches are a...

We have just returned from a wonderful four days at The Garden Room. It is an idyllic setting, and Peter and Fiona were wonderful hosts, taking the trouble to ensure we had everything we needed and giving us great tips for days out. It was beautifully located, green and peaceful, and Fiona's home made bread each morning (delivered to our...

Our family stayed for two nights in really comfortable accommodation in the main house, which the owner had rearranged in advance so that our children could stay in a room near us (first time they had a room by themselves) and it was perfect, down to the thoughtful treats left on the children's beds to the fresh flowers in our...

Everything was easy, a delight and pleasure, from making the booking ( swift, no fuss ) through to departure. The Old Rectory is a rare experience, the hosts, the rooms, the atmosphere, the hospitality, the generosity and quality of the breakfasts, this was a memorable stay. I urge you to stay at the Old Rectory when in the area. There...

We came expecting olde worlde Norfolk and were pleasantly surprised at how Peter and Fiona have updated the Garden Room. It's relaxing and airy with wi-fi and wood burner (if required), as well as a compact but efficient kitchen. I noticed some negative comments from a previous visitor about facilities and furniture - they can go to a spotless and...

We booked the Garden Room at the Old Rectory for a one week stay self catering. On arrival we were warmly greeted by the owners Fiona and Peter, who had left us fresh flowers, farm eggs & milk. The Garden Room is in a beautiful setting, surrounded by the colours and fragrance of a much loved and tended garden. We...

We much enjoyed a three night return visit to the Garden Room at the Old Rectory. The lovely spring weather helped but the generous space plus south facing terrace is very relaxing. Well fitted out, nicely decorated, with a comfortable bed, nothing like a good night's sleep followed by one of Fiona's wonderful breakfasts, lovely muesli, masses of fruit, home...

I have stayed at The Garden Room several times, and twice at the B and B, and have loved it every time! Fiona couldn't be more welcoming and helpful. She provides lots of ideas for restaurants and places to visit. The breakfasts in the B and B are delicious - local produce, homemade preserves, bread fresh from the oven and...

Stayed in warm and pretty room with en-suite bathroom and comfortable bed. Fiona produced flapjacks on arrival, homemade muesli and fresh muffins for breakfast. Also, I received a quick reply to my enquiry when booking.

We have just spent a relaxing week in this lovely Garden Room. We could not acquaint it with the same place as the last reviewers as we instantly felt at home. It was mainly clean and tidy and the beds were extremely comfortable, in fact I slept like a log, far better than I normally do when away from home....
