Detailed Reviews
We had our first glamping experience here in august 2019 as a family of 4 and we loved every minute. The bell tents are perfect, the owner is very happy to help and the children loved feeding the animals. A great base to go and explore Norfolk. Excellent value for money.

NOTE: This is a review of the alpaca experience, not glamping.
We took our daughter, who has special needs, for a 'mini alpaca experience'. This consisted of handfeeding and petting, followed by walking the alpacas around the property. Beckie, our guide, was very knowledgeable, and clearly loves what she does. The alpacas were lovely, with a beautifully laid back attitude and a marvellous relaxed gait. By the time we left, we were all feeling the benefit of a brief but rewarding experience of life lived at a different pace. We live nnot far away, and enjoyed the opportunity to support a small local business.

We went to Bumblebarn to walk the Alpacas. It was an amazing experience. We walked through the woods, which was better than just walking around a field. The experience lasted in total about 90 minutes. This included feeding the Alpacas and photos. Thanks to Beckie she made it amazing.

This is the perfect place to unwind, relax and escape everyday life.
Beckie is a fabulous host and her husband and their children are very welcoming.
The facilities are sustainable, clean and well maintained.
The showers are hot and powerful.
The tents are spacious and cosy especially with the additional touch of the electric blanket.
The animals add to the whole experience and Beckie will gladly introduce you to all their personalities.
I can't wait to return next year

My husband, son and I stayed here for 4 nights mid September and had a wonderful time. This was our first camping/glamping experience and I don’t think we could’ve chosen much better. We liked the intimate feel of the site which lent itself to friendly chats with other campers, the picturesque setting and our tent, which was beautifully furnished. It was very useful to have most things provided or available too, especially as we don’t typically camp so don’t have much in the way of equipment. I get cold easily but the electric blankets and heater kept us toasty warm. The shower was clean, hot and powerful and we liked the eco-credentials of the composting loo. We cooked breakfast every morning in the communal kitchen - an inspired addition to the site. The Honesty shop was useful too. Location wise, this may have been our first time camping but not our first trip to North Norfolk - there is lots to see and do nearby, especially for families, and we are still finding things to go back for ‘next time’! All in all, we had an very enjoyable stay and are looking forward to our next glamping experience!

Stayed here at the weekend with my 2 children. We had a great time, Facilities clean and modern. Showers hot. Tent was well equipped and cosy. Loved the electric blanket as an extra touch, although didn't need to use it. The highlight was of course the alpacas, chickens and horses. Finders keepers with the fresh eggs which was a bonus! We didn't do the trekking due to being fully booked, but we live reasonably local so will return. Lovely evening around the camp fire and making new friends. All in all, came home relaxed and the children had a fabulous time (good facilities for children too). Beckie was the perfect host. Thank you

The Bumblebarn Bell Tents looked lovely, but my review is about the Alpaca walks available at the site. I took my daughters (aged 14, 12 and 9) for an outing with the alpacas and it was delightful. We had a lovely walk with Lemmy, Bowie and Freddy the alpacas down the lane and through the woods, with our expert guide, and fed them apples we'd brought afterwards. Will definetely be back next year!
My daughter says: The alpacas were very sweet and friendly, and the woods were beautiful.

We stayed at this delightful location in April. A roaring campfire kept us warm as we chatted and tucked into a hot supper by the light of the moon. The electric blanket was sheer luxury and the double bed so comfortable as we drifted off to sleep hearing tawny owls hooting in the nearby woods. As day dawned the following morning we could fully appreciate the beautiful and peaceful campsite location - woodland with fields leading to unspoilt sea views. Plenty of birds here, we even saw a Red Kite! The owners’ horses, alpacas and hens are definitely a hit!
The bell tents are surprisingly spacious, tastefully furnished, with delightful little touches (won’t spoil the surprise) No need to bring any bedding, plenty of equipment for cooking in the communal kitchen ‘The Hive’ and the honesty shop proved useful. The campsite has composting loos, hot shower and a washing-up station. A play area safely within the fenced campsite will keep children entertained. Everything so well thought out and we loved the fact it is eco-friendly.
All of this is a just few minutes drive from the lovely seaside town of Sheringham, plenty to see and do in the area.
Bumblebarn Bell Tents is great value for money and we can thoroughly recommend it, if you would like to try glamping this is the place to go to!
