Detailed Reviews
We first started coming to Holly Cottage approximately 30 years ago. We stayed at Holly Cottage which is beautifully located near the relative we used to visit regularly. Sadly our relative is no longer with us but we are still coming to Holly Cottage. There are 2 suites on offer, one upstairs and one downstairs. One of the many things I love about this place is that you don't have to have a cooked breakfast. I do not eat breakfast and as long as I have a cup of tea I am happy. Each suite is equipped with cutlery, crockery, kettle and toaster and a small fridge. You have items to wash up with so you can "do your own thing". It is absolutely ideal. It is spotlessly clean and the owners, Chrissy and Mo make you very welcome indeed. I come every month to Sheringham and this is always my first place to visit. Each suite has TV and the WI-FI is first class. Off street parking. Every need is catered for and it is a real pleasure to come back every month.

Having discovered this wonderful gem quite a few years ago for Christmas Thursford Spectacular Show visit we have visited every year without a break. It was suggested that a Summer/Spring visit would be equally enjoyable. We have now been coming mid year for 3 or 4 years and have been blessed with gorgeous warm sunny weather. This place is not just an up market B & B it is everything that you could want and more. Every home comfort is catered for. On arrival the room has a welcoming bottle of wine, home made cake, bottles of water, chocolates etc etc. Anything you want is immediately available. We went out during the day, arriving back late afternoon, and then sat in the beautiful garden with the sun streaming down . We ate local Norfolk strawberries, had a glass of wine and listened to the birds singing - A million miles away from Cromer or the horror of over-packed Hunstanton. Don't ever retire Jeremy
Once again many thanks for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable

Just spent a great weekend with Chrissie and Mo at their lovely guest house. We stayed in the downstairs room and besides the very comfortable double bed, there was also two very comfortable armchairs in the seating area. The breakfasts were very good and the full English ones were different each day. This weekend was celebrating the 1940s and Sheringham and area was packed with people dressed up in the 40s costumes and the shops were all decorated. The famous Poppy Line to Holt was a great attraction with the old engines and carriages and people had brought along their vintage motor vehicles too. A very enjoyable weekend and we can recommend Holly Cottage for a comfortable stay. If you want to leave the car behind it is a bit of a walk to the town but there are parking spaces in the centre if you get there early enough.

We had booked 3 nights, but after the first, asked for as many more as could be had, so stayed 6 nights. This has to be one of the best places we have stayed, as Chrissy had thought of everything that we could possibly have needed. The bedroom(on the ground floor) was spacious and comfortable, the en-suite was very good for us as it was a wet room, and there was also an extra room with 2 comfortable chairs, tables & TV. We were made very welcome & given tea & biscuits & over the stay became almost part of the family. Anything we wanted to know Chrissy & Mo could help or find out for us. Holly Cottage is rated 4star, it should be more.
