The hotel is tired and really needs an overhaul. Carpets in the bedroom were heavily stained and the plumbing is leaking. On the plus side, the free wifi worked well, rooms have tea, coffee, biscuits, a decent hairdryer and plenty of additional blankets etc. Not that you need them as, despite being an old converted barn it was actually warm....

Thank you for your comments, we have invested in 16 Superior Rooms within the New Build and have a roll-out programme to refurbish the Classic Rooms. Thank you for your kind comments regarding the Team and I do hope that you will return in the future and experience one of the New Superior Rooms.

No heat in room for second day. No one seems to know when breakfast is new years day morning. Haven't found out about evening meal and entertainment yet either. Staff very poorly informed. Had 6 different room keys as well. Maybe better later. If heat doesn't improve will ask for a refund.

We spent three days on their Christmas package. The value for money was outstanding and the staff were excellent. We found the service over all our meals at Christmas without fault and the quality was excellent for the price we paid. They also laid on excellent buffets for residents and despite a long working day, games were laid on in...

Just been her for Xmas day meal with my mum. What can I say it was terrible. Poor quality food and service none existent. All small groups got left in an area with no waiter to the side of the bar. Shocking for £65 a head. Will never return

A good hotel. Looks nice from outside and good amenities and really nice staff. I will use this hotel again next time I am in Norfolk on business. Nice food in a homely environment and an excellent looking gym that I will make use of next time.

We visited this hotel for afternoon tea , and really enjoyed it. From the minute we entered the reception we felt very welcome. Having booked our table was laid and waiting for us. We had six finger sandwiches, tuna, cheese and ham, 3 cakes and 2 scones each with a choice of jams and cream. A pot of coffee and...

Stayed for one night for business, a lovely large room with a very comfortable bed and wished I could have made more use of it. Breakfast rather average though, with stewed coffee which is my real bugbear.

Came here the end of October with family as we heard the food was amazing- it did not disappoint! The bedrooms were lovely and modern, and nothing was too much trouble for the receptionist. But it was definitely the food here that made us come back a few weeks later with more family. Each dish looked like art and tasted...
