Recently back from a long weekend with a group of friends we stayed at the Orwell for 2 nights. Ideal for Felixstowe, situated at the end of the high street, 10 mins from the sea. The staff were wonderful, always available to help, special mention of Kostas, the day manager, who greeted us Friday

Food very good although staff could probably do with a bit more training - not a problem though. Room perfectly adequate, with bathroom better than we'd expected. Lovely and quiet Would certainly go back.

Lovely hotel. Great character. Rooms clean with added perk of water in room. Staff excellent and bent over backwards to assist in my dietary requirements. Great for gluten and dairy allergies. Only bad point need to learn how to cook gf toast.

We visited with 20 members of our car club for a Sunday luch meeting. Our party was given our own dinning room which was beautiful as were all the other rooms we saw - quality ans style from the Victorian era. The service was very polite and professional and the food outstandingly good. We have never been to Felixtow before...

Very friendly staff & waiting staff. Fantastic silver service given. The old building of the hotel offers a lot of history and is quite lovely to look at. Great location - opposite rail station, but very quiet. Lovely.
