Stayed at the Bull Inn for a wedding. Booking online was easy, though we did have to make some changes to our booking afterwards which did take a bit of time and a few phone calls. Room was clean and basic, but suited our needs. The bar was lovely and breakfast was very good with a range of choices available.

Yet another lovely meal , we eat at the Bull most weeks and the meals are always of a high quality, the young chef Henry produces some great dishes and a good variety so there should be something available to please most people The staff are great and always make you feel welcome even if they are busy I would... The people are very nice. I liked the atmossphere and for a bed and breakfast you get goid value for your money. Any request was fullfilled and if I will do a similar trip again I would not mind to stay at the bull.

Fair value for a mid-range B & B. Rooms were ok, bathroom a bit gloomy and the shower was temperamental. The staff were friendly staff. Breakfast ordering was a bit haphazard but overall value for money was ok.

Two doubles for an overnight stay in Battle. Pub downstairs is popular and a bit noisy at weekends but it didn't bother us. Good breakfast with local sausages that were great. Everything working in the rooms including free wifi.

On arrival bar had approx 7 people in, majority seemed intoxicated. On being shown the room it was less than basic and in need of modernising. Very disappointing as we had stayed at The Bull a few years back and this was far from how we remembered it. We left immediately and found alternative accommodation for the evening.

Went there for lunch today and on the menu was a plough mans to share at £13.95. When it arrived you had one piece of bread, no butter, one cherry tomato cut in half, two small slices of cucumber, about 4 lettuce leaves, one pickled onion, one slither of green pepper and one red and a small piece of cheese.... What a lovely landlady. So helpful and accommodating. I would recommend the bull to anybody who enjoys a relaxed atmosphere in a small town steeped in history. The food is beautifully home cooked and the staff are friendly and inviting. They couldn't do enough for you

No nonsense B&B in de center of Battle, Kent. We visited the hotel with our motorcycles and had pleasant stay there. The bikes could be parked at the back of the B&B. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly. And as said in the title the food is just great, including the full English breakfast.

“The hotel is a very old building. Not a problem for us, but expect an old staircase to the rooms. Our room was at the front of the hotel and as there was no double glazing, there was traffic noise. Again, we were okay with this, but others may want to request a quieter room if available.”
