This is not your common or garden B & B but a lovely compact self-enclosed cabin away from the main house (which dates from the 1500s). The bedroom looks out onto a small lake with some geese, and breakfast is provided to prepare as you wish when you wish. There is a fridge, egg boiler and toaster (no cooker) and...

This accommodation is situated in the top, A-frame section of a barn conversion, and includes a sitting room, kitchenette, microwave and fridge, and bedroom with fine views over neighbouring fields and a small lake. It's not enormous but very cosy and ideal for couples. It really is excellent value: the continental breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the hosts (who...

Took my daughter away to Stream House and her baby son, my grandson, for a break. EXCELLENT location. EXCELLENT B&B. Owners Fiona and Keith are extremely welcoming. This will be a regular for me. This is my second stay in the tiny cottage. I love it.

Beautiful peaceful place to stay near Battle. Gorgeous little cottage in grounds of 1560s house, overlooking restored meadows, grazing sheep etc. All mod cons, everything you need provided and Fiona & Keith great hosts, would highly recommend and look forward to visiting again some time.

I couldn't recommend staying at the Stream House, enough! Set in a mesmerizing landscape of beautiful fields it really personifies an English country B&B. Fiona and Keith were so lovely and accommodating and the Stream House is very charming with all the amenities you could need. It's a great distance to Battle and a wonderful sanctuary!
