Was wanting to try this recently refurbished place and as a friend was treating us we opted to give it a go. Nicely revamped, but the welcome was a bit sour. Asked for a table for 3, when we were acknowledged, and was kept standing whilst the waitress huffed and puffed about having to 'go and see'. She returned and...

The Cooden Beach hotel restaurant has had a facelift and an extension and is now called the 'Cooden Beach Hotel Brasserie'. This review is purely about the restaurant, we didn't stay in the hotel. Would have awarded 4 and a half stars if possible. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The bar has a 'gin' theme, so a good place...

My son had his wedding here and it was amazing. Everything was handled wonderfully and everyone had a great time. We stayed the night and the room was very comfortable. Breakfast was also good. Went for afterwards on the beach. Would highly recommend this hotel.

What a place. Very warm and professional welcome from all the staff. Couldn't fault anything in this place from the menu to the food the choices of gins and drinks. Food was to die for. Since opening 3 or 4 weeks ago I have visited the brasserie twice and will continue to use it as my first choice for treating...

I could have subtitled this review 'Gin ! Chin Chin' Have been to a wedding reception or two back in the day, but the new Brasserie opening on to the seaward decking is stunning. With the glass doors open in summer this will be a truly wonderful wedding venue. Dove Grey, washed wood is the décor with gleaming bars -...

Called in lunchtime as brasserie newly opened. Lovely setting right on the beach and the sun was shining into the dining room. Clean and tidy we were witted on by Beth who was charming and attentive. Very good meal at a reasonable price. Would imagine the location in summer would prove ver popular so might be worth booking. We will...

Stayed 2 nights for a wedding. Check-in was was good and the receptionist, Ali, was really helpful in explaining everything we needed to know. The bedroom was spacious, bed comfortable and bathroom very large. Everything we needed was provided. It was however very cold and we had to figure out how the heating worked to warm the room up, but...

Tonight we went to the newly opened Brasserie for a Valentine dinner. The food was sumptuous, as you would expect in a London restaurant, not quite as expensive!! We wonderfully waited on by Andre, nothing was too much trouble and our every need was attended too. I hope this standard is what we will get in the future.

Reception was very helpful, courteous and welcoming. Room was comfortable, slightly compact but clean and tidy, probably recently renovated, some restrictions but not surprising as it's an old building (e.g. sliding door to shower room). Whilst overlooking the main road (quiet) we also had an unexpected sea view which was a nice surprise. Dining room is new, spacious and nicely...
