Went for dinner as booked for 18:30pm onsite sat having dinner when the restaurant erupts with a group of road maintenance workers getting paralytic swearing and shouting staff just kept serving them at the bar !!!constantly very loud my 9 year old... My friend and I stayed here for 3 nights. The staff were really helpful and obliging at all times. We had to make a lot of inquiries while there and they always gave the impression they were there solely for our benefit..The hotel is almost a 15 minute walk from Barking but the 5 and 238 buses stop at the Tesco stop... This Premier is one of the best I've stayed at for London MCM, as not only is it convenient for driving there and back to York as it's right on the North Circular, it also has a huge Tesco and a petrol station next door! :D The staff are lovely and even put up Halloween decorations as it was the... First time at this location, usually use the PI at Docklands or Beckton however these were both full. As some of the other reviews have mentioned the hotel is looking like it's in need of some redecoration right now. To be fair though all the staff were pleasant & polite and willing to assist in any way, the usual PI... More

The premier Inn Barking is a very clean and comfortable hotel. the staff are friendly and helpful and always around. The restaurant offers some tasty food. The only issue is that is is a little out of the way but it also makes it nice because it is quiet.

For parking this is great it has a gated car park away from road. Unfortunately that's where it ends, the rooms desperately need upgrading the halls stink and our bathroom door didn't lock. The standards were not up to scratch even for a budget hotel.

The rooms are in a bad state and in desperate need of a refurb. Rooms not very clean and customer service is very poor. Consider choosing another hotel and don't bother to waste your money at this hotel. Feel very disappointed after staying here for the weekend with my family. Never again!
