Stayed 5 night at the Chudleigh, people were very friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. Bathroom was well fitted out and had a power shower. Breakfasts were very nice with a wide range to choose from. Would stay there again without question.

My husband and i stayed here on September 13th, for one night . We were welcomed with a smile and on this occasion we were offered a choice of room. We chose one on first floor with a huge bed! Very clean all through. Also had a very good fan which was needed as weather extremely hot. Breakfast was superb...

My wife and I stayed here when we came to Clacton for a cousin's birthday party. Carole and Peter have been in the business for a long time, and they've thought of everything. The rooms are spotless clean with modern decoration. Plenty of tea and coffee. Unlike some stingy hotels. Keys are numbered so it's easy to identity the one...

From all the reviews we thought The Chudleigh would be a suitable and convenient place to stay as Frinton is sadly lacking in hotel accommodation. But words cannot really express how welcoming Carole and Peter were to...

I travel a great deal in the UK and have stayed at many B&B. This was as good as any I have stayed in. I took the single room, which was small, but immaculate (down to the sanitary seal on the loo, which is rare in a B&B). The owner was lovely, the breakfast excellent, and the location spot on....
