We stayed five nights in April 2017. Lovely room in need of a bit of updating. Owner and assistant very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was VERY Basic-- boxed cereal and yogurt.. The home itself is lovely but both the home and the grounds need a bit of updating.

I had a sleep over at Elmcroft GH and it was brilliant. Room is nice and tidy and warm eventually. Steve, a member of staff, took me for a drive in his fast Porsche. It's a quiet place for someone who is looking for a good night sleep.

The room was clean and very accommodating. The view from the room was nice and it was lovely seeing horses playing with each other in the field. The host was excellent and made us feel welcome from the first min we entered the property. Breakfast in the morning g was also very good. We would definatley stay here again without...

Des, the owner is a lovely genuine man and went out of his way to help us....he gave us a lift into town, printed off some documents that my son needed for his interview and had left at home, and he also allowed me to hang out whilst waiting for my son....all these things made our stay extra special. Lovely...

We stayed for one night whilst attending a wedding at a nearby venue. Des was friendly and welcoming - nothing was too much trouble and we felt immediately relaxed and at home. Our room was spacious and well equipped with a comfortable bed. We had a tea tray with plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits. The en-suite was functional -...

A very comfortable stay in a spacious bedroom. Des was a mine of information about the locality. There was hardly any noise even though wedding guests were arriving back at midnight. The serve yourself breakfast was simple and adequate. There was good parking and the grounds were very attractive. Would stay again.

Rooms nice bathroom lovely and new, towels old and hard should be replaced, breakfast O.K. Extra charge for english breakfast!! Very old fashioned dining room, do not go into the kitchen! The Elmcroft is a small and friendly guest house managed by Des - who is a fantastic host, who cannot do enough for his guests. The rooms are cosy and clean with en-suite bathroom, tv and tea/coffee were all available- with plenty of additional tea or coffee or milk available if required. Continental Breakfast is included - but full English...

We stayed in the executive suite Wow! Room was massive with excellent facilities. Beautiful views. The owner Des is the friendliest guy you could meet as is Steve. Des showed me around the house and gardens even offered me an ice lolly. Such a relaxed atmosphere I felt at home. We didn't get up in time for breakfast so can't...

A very basic bed and breakfast, with a beautiful garden and parking. OK if happy with a basic room and a help yourself breakfast offering toast and fruit. Epping centre is only 10 mins drive and has plenty of places to enjoy a meal. Epping train station has easy parking and offers central line into London. Good value for a...
