Stayed over for a family member's funeral. The owner was great as my brother asked if he could take his elderly dog (which wasn't a problem), which meant the family could all book rooms together. The rooms were gorgeous and comfortable with huge pillows and a cozy bed, hot shower and tasy breakfast. Thankyou so much for such a lovely...

The room was great for us on this occasion, very clean and tidy. We were visiting family locally, so didn't spend much time in the room. If we were to spend more time in the room, relaxing chairs would have been a bonus. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay, and would definitely stay again. The breakfasts were...

Stayed here on 11-3-2017 with my daughter for the night, very friendly staff, rooms spotlessly clean and a very ample quality cooked breakfast - my daughter was in her element as we had the resident cat stay for the night. would thoroughly recommend to anyone

Basic but friendly and clean - staff were excellent - accommodation clean and tidy. Building is an old farm arrangement that has been converted to an effective, clean and tidy series of rooms with all amenities. Staff friendly and helpfull.

Slightly dated decor but absolutely fine in my opinion. WIFI weak but the whole area has WIFI problems I understand. Fresh towels and...

This is a good value B & B on a farm, the staff are all very friendly and the breakfast is cooked fresh to your choice, although latest time of 9am a little early on a Sunday. The rooms are large enough with a large bed (reasonably comfy), only downside is the lighting is very dull - one single ceiling...

My partner Angie was working in Chelmsford, she struggled at first, to find a nice quiet B&B at a reasonable price! Enter Blatches the breakfast was excellent, they were very flexible about timing regarding breafast .The rooms were spotless and we read an earlier reveiw about televison noise from other rooms.Sorry that is untrue. If you are in the area...
