I needed a room at the last minute, during a busy time and driving around i was unable to get room at a few places. Then I hit a stroke of luck. The Pavilion Hotel had a room at it's sister location 2 doors up the same road (The George Hotel). A very comfortable double bed and a handbasin in...

I booked a double room with ensuite, upon arrival I was told another guest wanted to stay an extra night, so I had to make do with a prison cell, sorry single room with no bathroom. No toilet or shower just communial, which wasnt great but it was very old and grubby. This place needs a serious overhaul. The room...

There is no point in regarding this hotel and anything other than a Bed & Breakfast. The décor is not ultra-modern, but it is clean, fresh and welcoming. The breakfast is as good as you will get anywhere and their coffee is just about right. Its a great wee spot for the travelling worker, whatever your industry. Not all rooms...

We booked this hotel as the reviews were generally complimentary. However, our experience would put us of ever returning. It is rare that I complain but on this occasion I am. Although we had booked for the Pavilion Hotel, on arrival were told we were not in the main hotel but directed to another one called George Hotel two doors...
