We booked two rooms neither in the main hotel, one across the drive and the other in the car park at the top. Double room was fine but the single in the car park was tiny and in summer would be extremely hot! The staff were very friendly and helpful but over stretched I felt, trying to do all things!...

We stayed here for one night. It is an old hotel so don't go if you want 5 star modern luxury. The service from the staff was great and our meal in the restaurant was superb. Fantastic value for money in a lovely Cotswold village

Had one night here visiting friends from usa staying in an air bnb in the village. Four poster room was clean, comfortable, warm and quiet. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Attilla and the other staff are friendly and hardworking. No, it's not The Dorchester. No, it's not 5 star. Yes, the floorboards creak. Yes, the decor is a...

Can't understand why this hotel is attracting terrible reviews.... Beautiful Cotswold stone hotel, with parking, free wifi (including in our room, although perhaps not in every room) and late check-out. Our room - a twin rather than the double we asked for - was clean and comfortable. Hotel is rather understaffed but the few people working there are friendly and...

My friend and I pulled up outside after driving past Father Brown being filmed in this picturesque Cotswold Village. The hotel looked amazing and through an arch there was a very steep winding road to the car park. However the twin room we had was quite basic with single beds end to end and a small ensuite. More suitable for...

This hotel had been recommended by our friends. We stayed in one of the 4 poster room in the Crown. We had a very nice, clean and tidy accommodation. First night, me and and my partner were eating in the restaurant and we had a very nice avocado cake and avocado salmon as a starter, steak and duck breast as...

We found this hotel some years ago and enjoy returning at least twice a year. The food is always excellent and we fing Atilla, Ivan and Aeron extremely polite and nothing is too much trouble. We love staying there and would recommend it to anyone.

I didn't stay at the Crown Hotel but I did eat dinner there twice and it was great! The first time I had the duck breast and I swear it was the tastiest thing I have ever eaten in my life! The service was great, the background music was lovely, overall a great evening. The second time I ate there...

Colleague and I stayed for three nights. We quickly realised that the whole place appeared to be run by no more than two staff and a part timer. God knows how they cope in summer. Room ok bathroom ok. Just bland all over. The wifi only working in the awfully small lounge area is an utter joke. No excuse for...

Stayed at the hotel for a weekend with the other half and was the only place I found last minute! Rooms are really dated and small bed was so old I had to ask for an extra duvet to keep on top of the mattress to avoid feeling the springs! Service a bit poor bar not open all day and...
