Had a great family holiday camping on an electric pitch over the Easter holidays for 7 days. Kids loved it so much green open space, can see the park and football field from the mead. Entertainment in the evening great, only downside is a bit pricey in the restaurant especially for a family!! Perhaps a few more lighter bites, there...

Great site for camping, with decent facilities, our second visit. Only negatives are pricey restaurants, for the type of food being served, tiny shop with a small selection of products. Seems to attract noisy guests, despite the site rules, too many ignore these. Oh and free WiFi is next to useless. Would go again though as we are CSMA/Boundless members.

Caravan ning and camping also available. On site super swimming pool , children's play areas, new gym and spa. Charges for other activities such as archery, crossbow and many others. Really enjoyed our stay at Whitemead, we stayed in a Log Cabin, which was perfect for our needs. The facilities on site are great including the indoor swimming pool, There is loads of outside space and good play areas for the kids. We ate in the Forresters Restaurant on site just once , the food was not great, but there...

We visited whitemead for Easter weekend and had two touring pitches. The pitches are fairly close together and it was a bit of a squeeze but ample room once we were pitched. Unfortunately the grass has not been maintained over the winter which left a muddy patch where our awning was pitched, not ideal. There were lots of activities taking...

A weekend in March at Whitemead, in one of the log cabins - just like a static caravan but bigger and better ! This had a bath and shower, great size lounge, lovely view of the woods and wildlife, very clean and tidy with lots of nice touches like the tea and coffee on arrival... ...the facilities are great, lovely...

We recently spent 3 nights at Whitemead camping with family. We chose the electric hook up pitch for our tents. The entire site is clean and tidy and looks like it's had a fairly recent refurb. Staff everywhere where friendly and helpful. Plenty to keep kids amused including lots of activities you can book them into. The area is beautiful...

Have been holidaying at Whitehead since a child from 1976. Took my parents back last year and this time stayed in a mobile home. Very comfortable and close to the main road and woods. Never disappointed always maintains a high standard. Lovely walks and so much to do. Great family holiday.

For families this place is ideal. We took our 4 grandchildren and we all loved it. We cannot say enough praise for all the staff. Everyone was amazingly helpful polite and smiley. Entertainment for little ones was fantastic thank you. Lodge was great, very good facilities, we loved our hot tub. Maybe some security checks?

Just returned from our first visit to Whitemead and very impressed with the place. Plenty of things for the kids to keep themselves entertained, food pretty good in the restaurant (Sunday lunch excellent) and live sport in the bar to keep me happy ! We stayed in the dell area with a level grass pitch and able to get a...
