Went in today with my kids, two friends & their children. Had a nice swim, although as always, the pool is FAR too cold. Then, as we quite often do, we opted to have lunch in the cafe. We stayed in a Woodland Lodge. We stayed with our 3 children. I found the accommodation to be very spacious, clean and of excellent quality. It was convenient to be able to park car outside the cabin. A real nice touch to have a Christmas tree lit in the lounge as we arrived! Beds were comfortable, even the fold out...

this is the third year we have been here and twice we have had terrible meals. Tonight the roast parsnips were that hard I couldn't cut them with my knive,the sprouts were more than aldenti they were rock hard. Prawn cocktail for starters was all sauce no salad or prawns. Xmas pudiing was hard on outside but not cooked in...

I should have seen it coming the lady to my right found a hair in her soup,that stopped me finishing mine. main course was billed as a veg pie.The base was completely raw the top not cooked underneath.The filling was a few potatoes ,rounds of carrot and a sliver of black.{possibly left overs from the day before?No sauce to even...

We have been here many times camping but opted to stay in the apartments this time.they are spacious warm and well equipped. The food in the main restaurant is second to none and the staff can not do enough for you. Wifi is free but we struggled to get a signal in the apartment in the bar it was fine....

We went for a long weekend and stayed in a large 3 bed log cabin, the cabin itself was nicely finished and was probably refurbished not too long ago. We stayed in 30 Woodland way (lodge) . Bit of a hassle carrying our bags to the lodge as parking is up path and around the corner, but lovely clean, modern interior very cosy with plenty of space. We checked in on monday, A bit early but nothing to worry about and had pitch 52, It as a very nice upstairs apartment with buckets of space, All clean and very comfy. The onsite indoor swimming pool was lovely and the bar was reasonably priced, All staff very nice and just a great time had by all!

We stayed half term week in number 6 clover way. Other family members were in 7 clover way and 17 pondside. All three properties were first class. They are very comfortable with plenty of space. There were plenty of activities put on for the kids during the week and the entertainment staff were great. From body zorb to tree climbing...

We returned again this year for half term , had a fantastic family holiday all our children loved every minute and did not want to leave.
