My wife and I stayed at the Prince of Wales hotel last week. The room exceeded our expectations and the bathroom was well equipped. The food was perfectly cooked and well presented. We found the all staff to be helpful and friendly and would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone.

My wife and I stayed at the Prince of Wales hotel from the 6th to 10th of March. The staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful from the minute we walked through the door and throughout the week. This included reception, dining room and bar. When I mentioned it was my wife's birthday we were offered a larger upgraded room...

.My wife, myself and two friends stayed for a weekend break beginning 3rd March at the Shearings Prince of Wales hotel Berkeley. Our stay exceeded our greatest expectations. My wife and I have been on many self drive breaks at various Shearings hotels but none of them achieved the quality and standards of this one. Our room was of a...

Stayed here for a long weekend. Clean room but some of the hotel decor could do with a lick of paint. Food basically good but if you have allergies or preferences, let them know before you go! Had to fight for food not on the resteraunt menu. Good help yourself breakfast but only luke warm. Good hotel for the older...

We stayed on one of the Weekend Plus breaks Fri to Monday. Very nice hotel. Not near any towns though so you need a car really. Or Shearings use the hotel for coach holidays. Nice and warm. Room and beds very comfy. TV and Tea and Coffee. No shampoo, shower gel in bathrooms though. Hairdryer provided. Extra pillars and blankets...

Trips out everyday on the coach - good job there was because there are no pavements to walk anywhere, anyway Berkeley being the nearest town...

Thank you for your review, we organise trips every day for coach visitors because of the difficulty for some guests to walk to the nearest town and hopefully we make up for it by everything else we have to offer within the hotel Melanie Mann General Manager
