We stayed for night and price included breakfast. Both were good but I thought it cost was on high side. Service was very good and we dined in their pub. Food was good and good service again. They do have a very good leisure facilities including indoor heated pool that we didn't use.

rooms clean and comfortable - first stay we could not open window: loos are placed in such a position that your knees are up against the bath - not best design. biscuits with the hospitality tray would be nice pool looked great did not eat in as quiet pricey for the meals on offer

Company selected this place to stay during a team event on Woodhead pass, OK as somewhere to get your head down. Room and Breakfast was good. 1st night when down to curry mile, great meal there. 2nd night hotel barbecue, bit grim this, little salad choice, however veggie burger was tops, but no pudding!

It appears to be in a strange part of town doesn't look very inviting from the outside. Staff very friendly and helpful. The room was a bit grubby and not up to the standard of other village hotels. Leisure facilities lovely and pool nice and warm. We missed breakfast so eat in Starbucks. Staff very friendly but area a bit... More

The hotel experience was spoiled by the poor service, high prices and lack of atmosphere in the pub and restaurant. We were isolated in the large and relatively empty restaurant which affected service as we had to constantly attract the attention of the staff, the décor was tatty and uninspiring 4* prices in a 2* establishment

Stayed here with a few friends overnight The room was tired and shabby looking, staff were distracted. In fact we stood there for about 10 minutes while the bloke at reception carried on chatting about his life with his mate until eventually we said 'S'cuse me' The inadequate milk cartons formed little clots on my coffee as it was off... Stayed for a few nights early July on business. Paid a bit more for the top deck better room. Sadly didn't get time to use the leisure facilities due to work commitments. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and the food to a very high standard. My only slight negative comment was that the room was very hot... More

We have just returned home from a 2 night night stay here & although our room needed updating we had a really good time. The bed was so comfortable with nice fresh clean bedding & the towels were very large & fluffy. We was attending a wedding here & it was brilliant, the staff were fantastic & we never had... More

The hotel itself is really a nice stay however that being said... I'm currently in my last night here and I can't sleep due to being kept awake by noisy extractor fans on the roof of the bar area I'm in room 104 and tonight is the second night I have complained about this the poor guy at reception was... The room was clean and comfortable but it was located very close to the swimming pool which may be the reason why it was so hot, my Husband was sick in the night as he got over heated and I just didn't sleep a wink. It was also hot in the guest areas so there was no escape!!
