The web site is still taking bookings but the place is shut. No contact numbers available they are clearly not bothered about customers only taking our cash. Very very poor. After using Premier in for years we will now be using their competition. Sort yourselves out !!

Response from Whitbread Hotels and Restaurants, Other at Premier Inn Manchester Tameside (Hyde) hotel
Responded Jan. 4, 2021
Hi, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We can confirm our hotels were open in November. During the National lockdown, our hotels were not open to the general public for leisure stays but did remain accessible for any guests who needed to stay for reasons legally permitted by the Government. We can confirm our Guest Relations and Reservations team continued to work throughout and so could have been contacted by phone, web form or social media to offer help and support for all existing reservations with us. We hope this has since been resolved for you. Kind regards, Rebecca

Hotel's Favourite
Wow! What more can I say, from being greeted by the lovely dark haired lady in reception through to leaving to go home our stay was amazing!! We arrived very stressed on the friday, after months of planning cancelling and rearranging my cousins wedding. The lady behind the desk was smiley happy and very professional. We requested to stay a few doors away from the newly weds on their wedding night, not an issue. We asked for the coldest room in the hotel again not an issue. The lady even brought us up a couple of extremely clean sterilised fans. Nothing was to much trouble. The hotel itself was constantly being cleaned and this in itself was extremely reassuring! The service for the breakfast was done in a very professional manner, with lots of smiles and happy to greet you staff members! Thank you to everybody who made our weekend extra special!!

Have stayed her a few times and always found it to be welcoming with clean rooms and lined. Didn't sleep well but that was due to noisy people in next room, not a problem I have suffered here before. Will no doubt be staying there again before year ends.

Room Tip: Probably find rooms to the rear are more quiet. Can't say I have noticed any noise from outside.

Having never stayed in a budget hotel before I was a bit apprehensive. However I was very pleased with the professionalism and friendliness of the hotel staff, the size, cleanliness and layout of the room, the comfortable bed, and although the bathroom was smaller than what we are used to it was adequate with both a bath and a shower. We only stayed for a couple of nights while we had a new bathroom installed but would have quite happily stayed a bit longer.
