Stayed one nights. The hotel itself is quiet convenient and easy to access via public transport. We arrived and the gentleman on reception was nice, gave us our key and told us where our room was. Unfortunately it was all downhill from there no main lights on meaning only emergency floor lighting was lighting the already creepy and outdated looking... More

Hubby booked this as we wanted a cheap hotel overnight after a late flight into Manchester. Had we seen it in the daylight we would have kept going. On a positive note the bed was comfy and the bedding crisp and spotless. There are some good touches, tea making in room, biscuits and complimentary toiletries. There was no way I... More

A small double room with shower in one corner & sink in room. All fittings & decor are very tired. Room was damp due to no extractor in the shower - Mildew is a severe problem. This could be a health issue for people with asthma, etc. Electrics are dangerous - The TV flickers on & off when the shaver... More

Although the majority of our stay was adequate and the room appeared clean, my roommate and I (in twin room, no.2) left with bed bug bites which developed further after leaving- we are now covered and fear we may have to treat our own homes! I have tried to contact the hotel but 48hrs after emailing I have still not... More

As others have stated, this place needs closing for a major overhaul. I stayed in room 7 for four nights. Dirty carpet. Dirty walls. Dirty bathroom. Worthless shower. Breakfast ha! After only one morning I visited Greggs instead. £55 per night! Not worth a fiver.

I was not expecting a lot after reading some of the reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. I have just returned after spending one night at The Beaucliffe Hotel. I needed a place which was reasonably priced and not too far from Old Trafford. The welcome I received was good and friendly from the owner and the breakfast staff, the... More

Having read other reviews on this site I began to wonder what kind of experience I was about to undergo! I was very pleasantly surprised. The entrance to the hotel was clean and there was a good public sitting room. The reception was warm and friendly. My room was perfectly adequate and, I guess, not long since refurbished, well decorated,... More

This is a very disappointing hotel. The car park is dirty and ill defined. The front door and hallway uninspiring and the rooms poor. The only thing about the room was a comfy clean bed. The carpet was grotty, old and had seen better days. the décor poor, the bathroom old fashioned ( although a new shower unit had been... More

I really enjoyed my stay, the hotel is clean with an amazing full English breakfast on offer. The hotel is In a good location where you can get takeaway, nearby sainsburys, bus stop and train/tram stop making easy to explore the area.
