Very basic hotel and Very tired. Felt uneasy booking in at night. Surrounding area didn't feel safe although I have nothing to back that up. Only paid £55 so wasn't too upset. Original price was £140 apparently according to booking.com. That would have been a rip off

We booked a budget room because we only needed a place to sleep basically, and that is exactly what we got. on arrival a cheerful receptionist checked us in an hour or so early and proceeded to give us a riverside view twin room. the riverside view was there along with a long row of builders shanties right behind. the...

The rooms are very basic and a little bit dated however they are very clean and cannot be complained about when considering how cheap this hotel is. Parking is free for guests which is always a bonus! The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from Deansgate and a little further to the shopping area of Manchester so maybe not...

Room was basic but ideal for just a sleepover, comfortable beds and tidy and clean. The staff were lovely, reception staff and bar staff, friendly and cheerful and glad to help. High standard of food, evening meal was delicious and I ordered a full breakfast, the egg was cooked perfectly!

I booked two rooms here well in advance and paid £45 per room so wasn't expecting much. Was very pleasantly surprised. Decent rooms fair bar and not far from city centre. Ideal for what we needed which was a bed to crash in after a gig. Would stay here again.

Stayed here with my father in law and his friend prior to the Man Utd and PSV game. Arrived after a long car journey. Staff at reception was pleasant. Got checked in. Went to the room, looked at the bill, looked back at the room and wondered if I had entered a time portal to a truck stop some place....

Stayed here for a couple of nights late November, hotel is your standard budget hotel, basic but do-able for a night or two. The walls are paper thin so you can hear pretty much everything in and around the hotel, which made for two quite sleepless nights unfortunately. It was clean and tidy though, bath was very small!

Good rooms, but most important excelent service! Ask for Tom, he can fix just about anything! Taxi to the center cost about 6-7 pounds. We stayed for 4 days and had a great time. Only negative is that its a casino nearby and im not a good gambler.

This hotel is well situated for both Manchester and Salford and has the edge over Travelodge and Premier Inns because is offers a lounge, bar and snacks in the dining room. Prices are reasonable except that the breakfast is a bit steep at £8.75. Best to go next door to Sainsburys. However the room itself is very basic and you...
