Booked direct no problem, assured by Sue that breakfast was first class, given a quiet room which was a little dated but clean and fresh, dinner was very good, service was attentive and friendly, food was freshly cooked and tasty asked for onion rings which were not on the menu and was told, not a problem I will speak to...

The rooms are nice and a decent size , but make sure you dont get the one next to reception . Had a really bad sleep with it being next to the night kitchen . Didnt complain as I was just too tired . Had evening meal in the restaurant but found it to be over priced for oven chips...

We stayed overnight having been to a dinner show in the Concorde Club. The room gave an impression of being crowded with furniture and if we wanted to open the wardrobe door fully we had to move a chair to the other side of the table. The wardrobe was a free standing, heavy old-styled wood with a huge safe smack...

We booked a table for 9. The food was great. Superb atmosphere. The entertainment was Diane Shaw who was just brilliant. 3 courses with coffee for £45 including entertainment. Free car park. Thank you for a great night

We stayed here having had our flights cancelled at Southampton airport. All the staff were very accommodating and friendly. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The full English was to die for! Would definitely recommend.

On checking in we met the manageress Sue, as well as the receptionist and double checked our next two reservations were all correct, which they were. We then chose our...

We have stayed at the Ellington Lodge on four occasions this year and have been very satisfied with all aspects of our stay. The rooms are large, clean and very comfortable; we always choose a downstairs room as we travel with a lot of luggage, although there is a lift to the upper floor. The shower is over the bath...

Our original hotel had lost our booking at moved us to Ellington Lodge. Although not as convenient as what we had booked, we had no complaints about this alternative. Particular mention of the breakfast - excellent.

Following a recommendation, and good reviews on this site, I rang and booked a room and parking for our Xmas cruise. I requested a disabled room and also advised that for the transfer to the port, we would need a larger vehicle as I would have a walker, wheelchair and scooter, to which I was told that was not a...
