We stayed 9/6 with friends. We had a very good deal with Travel zoo. It is an old style hotel in beautiful grounds and gardens. The staff without exception were very good. Great service throughout. Our dinner was A*. Some menu choices sounded odd. They were delicious. Breakfast was also very good with plenty of choice and well served. The...

A one night stay to celebrate an anniversary. Our room, on the ground floor, was a good size and had a patio door that led out to the herb garden. The bed was comfortable but it was a very warm room and will undoubtedly get somewhat hotter later on in the summer. This could potentially be a problem as people...

Stayed 2 nights here. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Food was excellent and well priced. Would highly recommend Essebourne Manor. We took 2 of the lovely walks they feature and were lucky with the British weather being kind. There is lots to do all in close proximity.

We arrived at 4pm and were served scones with strawberry ja and lovely thick double cream as we sat outside on the patio overlooking the gardens. Our room was large with a very comfortable bed. Great bathroom with a separate shower and spa bath. Our evening meal was a delight, each course was very tasty and thoroughly enjoyable. We would...

We were recently here for a friends wedding with an overnight stay. The wedding itself was very well done, in a lovely countryside setting. As we were lucky with the weather a lot of the time was spent outside in the well kept gardens, with croquet and giant chess on the lawns. The wedding lunch and breakfast the next morning...

We stayed one night and enjoyed beautiful, fresh scones and jam on arrival. A welcome treat after three hours motoring! Our room in the courtyard was spacious if a little tired. The bed was two singles joined together but comfortable nevertheless. Dinner was an unexpected treat. We both had king prawns for starters which were lovely. I had the lamb which...

We stayed here on a trip to Hampshire from Yorkshire to bring home a new puppy. The hotel was very comfortable. The room and bathroom very clean. Lovely setting. Although we only had breakfast in the dining room it was very good. The owners were very pleasant.

Stayed here in April for two nights. The hotel is located in the countryside. We were greeted on arrival by very friendly receptionist. Had afternoon cream tea. home made scones were delicious but could be a little larger. Room was very nice and overlooked the grounds. Ate in the restaurant in the evening. The food and service were superb, wine...

We took my mum for afternoon tea as a special treat this afternoon. Booking by phone was easy enough and the person I spoke to was pleasant. The manor is set in lovely grounds and looks nicely appointed. We weren't shown any menu so had no idea what the afternoon tea consisted of, it would have been nice to have...

Visited Esseborne Manor for my husbands birthday. Purchased an extremely good deal through Travelzoo. This included staying one night in a charming room with four poster bed. We had tea and scones with jam and cream on arrival. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Pretty manor house and gardens. Had a delicious evening meal and opted to pay a little extra...
