We had an excellent night here as part of a larger party. Dinner was very good, with "lamb and crispy bits" being a standout, also 3 Lions tart delicious. The service also good, friendly and not too formal. The room was fine, nothing too special, but did have the two main requirements for a one-night stay - large comfortable bed...

We decided at short notice to have a break in the New Forest but needed to find somewhere to take our dog who we have only had for a short while and, being a rescue dog, does not like to be left. We were very lucky to find 'The Three Lions'! On arrival we were shown to our room on...

If food is more important to you than the standard of accommodatuion then when visiting the New Forest consider staying here. Our accommodation was in a single story extension. The room was on the small side; the bathroom fittings old and tired. However, doors opened into the garden which was nice. The dinner s on both nights were excellent, good...

The food and accommodation may well be good but their customer service is appalling. We booked a room on the Wednesday for the Friday night and had to cancel it because of a family crisis. They charged us in full and wouldn't even consider a partial refund. They kept promising to call us back and it took 3 weeks and...

Yet another example of Trip Advisor being used when it shouldn,tThey cancelled mid day on the day of arrival! In light of the circumstances, which they did not make completely clear,I offered to credit the whole amount to a later date of their choice, which they declined. As to staying again, like another previous entry, they have never ever set foot here before & luckily for...

We are a group of two couples with a dog looking to stay with them for a night. Saw their B&B through another website with reasonable rates per night, so we called to enquire the availability. The person who answer my call said there are rooms which suit my date but the price was a lot more than what was...

This person misread the New Vision rates on offer which is based on per person based on double occupancy. When my employee pointed this out they themselves became quite rude & he had no alternative but to terminate the call.

Friendly staff and a nice setting - the part we stayed in is a modern single storey extension with french doors onto the garden. The room was a decent size but decor was pretty chintzy and old fashioned and the bathroom was very tired - a cheap and knackered freestanding aluminium towel rail, fairly old and thin towels. We'd booked...

Totally UNTRUE. The beds are zip & link Vi Spring with new duck down toppers. The towel rails are chromed steel, the towels are top quality & recently replaced. All the rooms to which you refer, have been redecorated & brand new shower units fitted this spring All the doors are bespoke & especially widened to allow easy wheelchair access for ground...

Professionally correct reception. The rooms are very clean and well equiped.. Marvellous garden. Breakfast was OK. Only one small point: to bite the toasts you must have a good set of teeth. Perhaps we were a little bit late (at 9.00 am) at the table. Perfect start for a tour through the New Forrest.

My wife and I stayed here over Christmas and it really suited the situation perfectly. The room was large , comfy bed and all facilities were top notch. Breakfast was good, wholesome stuff and suited us well. We treated the rest of the family to a great lunch here which included 2 small kids and they were accommodated in style...

We had our christmas dinner here on Christmas Day, it was simply fantastic. We were shown to our table Straight away, there were 5 of us but we were put on a table with plenty of space around us didn't feel crowded at all. We started with canopes that were delightful. The whole meal was perfectly timed and at no...

We stayed here for 1 night on the way to a family gathering. The welcome was great despite arriving slightly later then expected ( just after closing time ). The room was great, with plenty of space for the 3 of us, good facilities and very comfy beds. The location and gardens were lovely and our 5 year old was...
