A good base for exploring the forest the hotel has a few stables so was able to bring my horse along. The room was clean and warm with a view out onto the lawn. The main house has kept a Victorian feel but the Gym and pool area is bang up to date. Food was really good

Really pleased you had a comfortable stay and enjoyed your vension supper and full english breakfast. If time had allowed, I would liked to have joined you on my horse to show you some more riding routes around the New Forest from the hotel.

I cannot fault this place, and want to go back as soon as possible. The owner, Allan, is a charming gentleman who made us feel so at home. I only hope he will keep the place open so we can return again and again. This was a birthday treat, and I cannot think of a better place to go!

My horse, Sprite, my husband Christopher and I had a really happy stay in this blissfully quirky old Victorian hunting lodge.crammed full of Victoriana furniture and knick-knacks! Every room was a joy! We used the hotel as a base for me to do a 65kms Endurance ride run by the Endurance which meant we all needed to have a restful...

An amazing place steeped in history, run singlehandedly by its 70+ year old owner. A real find. This is not a luxury modern hotel though if thats what you're looking for. It is a hotel full of warmth and character and storied and history... we loved it. Alan cooked us the best breakfasts. Our dog was made very welcome and...

We had an amazing time here. Alan could not have been more helpful. The room was perfect. beautiful views. Breakfast plenty. Stabling and turnout good. I bought bedding from just off M27 to save space. Hacks were incredible directly from the hotel. Pool, sauna & Jacuzzi were lovely. This is not a five star hotel so if you want that...

This was our second visit to this unique and charming hotel. Formerly a Victorian hunting lodge, it is an amazing building the rooms have comfortable old beds and wooden wardrobes. So much of interest all around the building with walks in the grounds - a friendly old horse might join you in the garden. Alan, the owner is charming and...

We stayed at Bramble Hill for 3 nights, we met Alan and his two lovely dogs and we had a wonderful relaxing break. Alan was a great host and his breakfasts are not to be missed. As for the Billiards room, what an experience, a fantastic end to our evenings. A beautiful lodge in a beautiful place.

We stayed here for one night as a treat for my birthday, and it was just so lovely. Once you arrive at the b&b at the end of the driveway, you realise how historic the building is. Our bedroom was very comfortable, as was the ensuite. Wide hallways, timber beams, high beds, everything was in keeping with the age of...

My wife, son and I pretty much ended up there as a result of deciding to go away last minute on a bank holiday weekend. We normally stay south of the M27 so this was both a change and an eye opener to the beauty of the North side. The hotel is only about a 10 min drive from the motorway...
