Was given a very unfriendly welcome by a very rude young woman behind the bar! No smile No hello No please No thank you.... No eye contact! She was also rude to other customers and her staff, we were over charged for our drinks so when I went back to the bar to tell her she was extremely rude, Atmosphere...

We retuned again to this tried and tested place! Great location and David and his staff do all they can to make you welcome! Breakfasts are excellent with lots of choice! The Forest is on the doorstep and you don't have to move the car if you wish to just walk. There are many circular walks and staff are able...

Not the easiest place to find but well sign posted once you are on the right road and worth finding! Beautiful setting with a huge garden, plenty of tables and a small playground for young children. Food nice but we thought a bit on the pricey side. Friendly staff and service quick.

Having gone off the beaten track to get there I was looking forward to some tasty home made food. We all had different meals and I can honestly say that for a change all four of us in the family were in agreement that the meals were awful I have never seen every member of the family leave the majority...

On a summers day there will be a lot of people here but they can handle it and it and the grounds are big enough to cope though parking may be difficult. Nestled right in the wooded new forest it has a beautiful setting along a rutted unsurfaced road on our favourite detour when travelling between surrey and Bournmouth. We...

Visit to meet friends with children here every year. Lovely setting, but £12.50 for a very average burger and oven chips is a rip off. Don't run to steak knives. Wouldn't go there to eat. Not value for money.

Second visit - each time with different friends who all loved the off the track feel of the place. New barman struggled with the influx of customers but we all have to start someplace!! Food is great and service matches it. I'm not a doggy person but it is a great spot to take "Barker" with you as the outside...

We stayed here a couple of years ago and had a really nice time so popped in for lunch while passing this week. Hide corner is hidden away half a mile down a bumpy gravel track right in the forest. It's a old style pub with low ceilings beams and wooden floors, split over a couple of levels. It has...

Stopped off for a pint at the high corner inn, good service at the bar, great location and a lovely place to be. Great pub garden for the summer months. Will be visiting once again soon as the food has been great in the past and looked great during our stay

My son had passed it on a hike through the New Forest so we all decided to revisit this very secluded and lovely Inn. Great setting and very relaxing atmosphere. Staff were lovely and accommodating and the drinks were good. The food was pretty good although the mash was a bit heavy. No complaints. It was tasty and we enjoyed...
