Myself, husband and 2 teenage children stayed here over the Easter weekend. We had to ring the hotel to get directions but found it after a small detour. Check in was very quick and our room was of a good size with a four poster bed and a set of bunk beds, it was clean enough, the bathroom could do with...

The hotel staff were all very helpful and friendly. Great location, lovely to be able to look out the window (Room 4) across the road to the Forest and the ponies grazing! we ate at the Drift Inn, right next door, as wanted something informal (also owned by the Beaulieu hotel I believe) and had a very nice pub meal....

Stayed here for a couple of nights as a change from our usual place when we come down to the New Forest (usually Bartley Lodge in the same hotel group). If we hadn't previously stayed at the other hotel then we would perhaps have been a little less critical, however, in every respect Beaulieu Hotel is not quite as good...

We booked this while in the area for the Beaulieu Boat Jumble. I noticed that there was a train station beside the hotel so we traveled from Southampton Airport straight to the station. Thereafter we used local taxis for our outings. This made our two day stay very relaxing. This hotel is smack in the country with nothing around only...

Stayed here for 2 nights as I was working in the area. Chose this hotel as hubby and 2 dogs were accompanying me. The hotel is situated in a lovely location, with plenty of parking and dog walk possibilities. On arrival we were checked into a very nice four-poster room, with a good-sized bathroom, comfortable bed and excellent selection of...

We arrived for a pre booked afternoon tea for 20 ladies of uncertain age, for a friend's hen do. The ages of the ladies is perhaps shown by the fact we opted for afternoon tea instead of a night out - perhaps we should have gone for the night out... The tea and coffee was already on the table when...

I am disappointed to read this negative review. This is not the usual high standard at Beaulieu Hotel. There was some miscommunication about the time of this booking, this is why some of the tea was put out early. Prosecco was not ordered in advance unfortunately so glasses had not been placed on the table. I have since dealt with...

I booked a short break for myself, husband and 19 year old son. We wanted a quiet hotel which would take our dog. We booked B&B only so we were not tied to evening meal times. The Beaulieu is a very pleasant hotel and the staff were all very welcoming and helpful. Our room was classed as one of their...

Thank you for taking the time to review your experience in such detail. I am pleased your experience was largely positive. Generally for teenagers of this age a separate room would be recommended, but if one room is requested the sofa bed is the most suitable option. Due to our rural location our Wi-Fi is restricted as the area has...

Lovely selection of home made cakes, fresh and good portions. Very impressed with the gluten free options that were presented. Overall very impressed would thoroughly recommend for afternoon tea.

We stayed in an accessible room for 1 night and have nothing but praise for the helpfulness and lovely attitude of all the staff. The room was lovely and suited our special needs very well. Our only criticism was the quality of the food, but we have learnt after years of experience that it is unfair to judge an establishments...

Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay at Beaulieu Hotel. I am glad to hear the room met your requirements and the staff were so helpful. I am disappointed to read your comments about the quality of the food, this is not our usual standards and hope on your return visit you will see a difference.

There seems to be a consistency problem here at this hotel, why are there such differing reviews, and why doesn't the management address the issues raised. The hotel is in a great position and even in the annex at this time of year there is very little noise from the railway line as the trains connect to the I.O.W. ferry...
