Just returned from a two day stay at the Montagu Arms. This has to be one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The ambience is sophisticated, English elegance with very up-to-date comfort. The staff were very attentive, nothing was too much trouble, the food excellent, the rooms imaginately furnished with a large comfortable, canopied bed. The only...

From the moment my husband and I arrived for a two night break we felt welcomed, very valued as customers and relaxed. The extra touches such as a ballon and birthday card in my room, tea/coffee delivered to our room in the morning, exquisite food and wine, immaculate gardens - I could go on and on! A really super place.

Dear Guest, I am really appreciative and almost speechless by this outstanding review. As you have so rightly mentioned, sometimes things need immediate attention to ensure that our guests have everything they require. This maybe something simple like the changing of a light bulb and as long as any issues are pointed out at the time so that we are...

We stayed at the Montagu Arms for a two night midweek break in mid-September. The hotel had been kind enough to keep an open booking for us when we had to postpone a trip last year. They were also good enough to upgrade us to four poster suite because we stayed two nights. Our suite was in fact two rooms...

The staff and the food was excellent. We had a standard room at the back which was not large but adequate and although the view was not great it was a very quiet room regarding noises from other rooms.
