Good food and service. We were welcomed and looked after well by the team there. Sandwiches were good although the soup was a bit too spicy.
Definitely worth a visit.
Nice location and possibly worth booking as the pub was very busy when we left

Lovely traditional pub with great food. We booked & were sat by the open fire which was gorgeous. Very dog friendly with water bowls & treats. The staff were really friendly. The fumble is highly recommended!

To be honest, as I don't have children, I tend not to take any notice of play areas, but there was, I do remember, a bouncy castle (not permanent though) and play areas for children to play in. Lots of children were having lots of fun whilst we were there but the garden was large enough for it not to be a nuisance.
Hope this helps you and you go and enjoy yourself there.
