Went in August 2020 for lunch. Sat outside in a nice, sheltered courtyard. All socially distanced tables with waiter service. With the eat out to help out scheme (mid week lunch) a meal for 3 adults and 1 child + drinks (beer and cider) came to mid 30's mark. Portions were very generous, cheese hiding under even more cheese for the ploughman's. Very nice home baked ham and a ridiculous amount of fish with the seafood salad. It was great. The dessert was massive too slabs of ice cream the youngest couldn't finish topped with a brownie.

Very tasty and good portions already planning to go back next time we are in the area.

Amazing to get traditional white table cloths napkins and nice cutlery in a very traditional atmosphere. Miss Marple would not look out of place here. I had the venison and my wife the vegetarian wellington. Both excellent even the gravy was superb. I am a competent cook of 30 years and rarely find food I think is better than mine but this was really good. Would highly recommend this restaurant and at very reasonable price. Will be back.

I thoroughly recommend this place for a good value hearty lunch in traditional surroundings. I even got a choice of three cask ales. The waiter was courteous, professional and helpful - totally unfazed by my friend's request for custard with his cheesecake! First class - we will return

So we travelled here on Thursday for two nights due to going to a wedding at a local venue, we've never stayed in any place like this but honestly we don't regret a single decision.

The pricing was very very fair and well priced, a definite bargain especially as we got breakfast included. The staff were all lovely and you can see the passion, care and effort they put into the place and the service they provide.

The beds were extremely comfortable, the hotel warm and the breakfasts were well portioned and very very nice. More people should support local privately ran hotels like this as the setting and character of the building really did peak our interest.

Should the day ever arrive we need a place to stay in Bromyard again we'll certainly be coming back here.

excellent evening meals at a very reasonable price. A quaint and quirky place. Our room was small but had all we needed with generous amounts of tea, coffee, biscuits, etc. We had a lovely breakfast with home made bread and a jug of orange juice. For our evening meal there was a jug of water and home made bread with proper butter curls. Would happily stay there again.

The Falcon helped make a wonderful 70th small family birthday lunch: the food, service and old world charm were excellent in every sense. From the young women serving, who were very patient and helpful, to the brilliant food, we would like to say 'thank you' for a great day. The food was superb: perfect vegetables properly cooked, the various meats were mouth watering and the home made ice creams were to die for! It was also very good value for money, as the portions were generous and very well presented. Overall, we would recommend The Falcon without hesitation.

We were visiting family in the area and found this place and decided to give it a try. Its a lovely historic building and we were shown to a table in the restaurant. It's not a huge menu but there is enough on there to please most tastes. There were four of us and we only had main meals.
1 x Sirloin steak which was cooked as ordered and very succulent and tasty.
3 x brisket with chilli sweet potato mash. Two of the brisket were perfect but there was too much fat on one of them. The chilli sweet potato mash was yummy and we all enjoyed it. We shared a bowl of chips to give them a try and they were very nice.
The staff were really friendly and nice.
The toilets are a bit dated but clean.
Overall a decent place to eat and we would go again if we are in the area.

Booked for my husband and his friend.
Booked a triple room and the manager was rude saying they only had a double available, they asked for seperate rooms to be told it was an extra £22 and booking.com was to blame. The next morning he showed the manager proof of our booking and still tried to blame booking.com. Very rude and wrong of the hotel if they have overbooked a room it is there fault not booking.com

Just want to sing the praises of the Falcon Ballroom function room and the hotel's catering for a special birthday party. The food was interesting, tasty, generous and served by very helpful and friendly staff. The buffet dishes were superb and both main courses and deserts had the touch of an expert chef seemingly very aware of both local and seasonal ingredients. The room worked well for both eating and dancing for a group of 50 guests with good access to the bar downstairs.
