Detailed Reviews
The Inn, also called The Kings Arms, was barely visible through the scaffolding when we arrived for lunch. Inside it is a traditional old coaching Inn with many beams and quite a few locals at the bar. We were shown into the area reserved for eating where we had a reserved table and a lit fire for cosiness. The bar staff served us and were charming and helpful. Two of us enjoyed the pensioners Wednesday deal at £7.95 for a two course meal. All of our meals were generous and well prepared and attractive.

Room Tip:Â Free car park was full but there is a cheap municipal car park behind.

We love this area for walking and wanted chance to get away and for our dog Milo to stay too. We were made to feel welcome for the moment we arrived. A proper traditional inn with loads of character. A lovely comfortable room which was spotlessly clean. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts and we would recommend to friends and certainly return for another visit.

Sunday Lunch was amazing 10/10. Lovely roast sirloin, proper roasties and parsnips, veg was fresh and not overcooked, homemade Yorkers and a gravy boat full of proper gravy! All finished off with homemade cheesecake and icecream! Service was good and hosts were friendly and welcoming! We will definitely be back - probably next Sunday!!!!!

Stayed in a standard double room. Heating was completely turned off and no supplementary heater provided so, with sub-zero outside temperatures, the room was icy. No extra blankets provided. The single-glazed windows did nothing to keep out the booming traffic noise from the busy road next to the place. Walls are paper thin, so every sound from other rooms is loud and clear. The place was closed and locked by 9pm, so tough for late arrivals - and nobody to ask to turn on the heating. Overall it offers primitive, basic accommodation, very expensive given the poor level of quality and comfort. I certainly would not stay again.

Friendly enough place. Room was very expensive for what it was - very basic, quite dated and the carpets in the bathroom put me off!
Breakfast was very nice though. Wouldn’t stay here again or recommend but it did the job for one night as we were at a local wedding and the accommodation was fully

We had a really lovely overnight stay. The staff went above and beyond for us, the room was very clean with a comfy bed and the full English breakfast was thoroughly enjoyed by us both! Thankyou for having us - when we visit our friends in Bromyard we will definitely be staying here again. Really good value for money.

Trying out an established pub, but with a new management team.
Lovely meals which we both enjoyed.
Head chef Louise.
Made us very welcome, nice background music creating a pleasant atmosphere.
Will definitely be back sooner rather later.
Also plenty of off road parking at the rear which in Bromyard is a wecome bonus.

Rang to book a table in the bistro ad per their website. Had to leave a message but got no call back. I am told that it is understood that they no longer serve food. I cxx as my confirm this as they didn’t ring back. Such a shame as it’s a lovely looking place. I would have liked to have given them some trade! Will I try again, nope, if they are still in business they need to sort out their website and booking arrangements.

Hi Tracy, as Kathryn rightly said dogs are allowed in the rooms, you do need to let us know and you will need to have one of the larger rooms and there us a charge of £10.00 per dog. Thanks Sue the owner
Hi Gaby yes the pub is dog friendly if you would like to eat with us we can reserve you a table in the bar area as dogs are not allowed in the restaurant. (All dogs must be kept on a lead). Look forward to meeting you Sue
