Arrowbank Lodge is an excellent, up market B&B. Quality and service is first class. Very helpful hosts. Very well appointed bedroom.Scones and tea on arrival Excellent breakfast. Well worth paying a little extra than standard B&Bs. We stayed here for one night whilst walking Offa's Dyke Path. It is very conveniently situated for for the ODP and the town centre.... More

We had one night here whilst walking the Offa's Dyke Footpath; Arrowbank is close to the Path and also close to the services in Kington. We had a lovely welcome and our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was also very nice.

Whilst Arrowbank Lodge is very comfortable with an excellent breakfast it's the welcoming hosts that deliver the icing on the B&B cake. A cheery open door for the tired walkers with wet boots, warm scones and plenty of tea made for an excellent start. This was enhanced with the friendliest of chats, good local advice and warm dry boots returned... More

I stayed at Arrowbank Lodge while walking Offa's Dyke Path. The property was lovely and very well kept. Bird song outside my window with view of livestock at a meadow's edge. All delightful. Jill and John were welcoming hosts. John cooks a wonderful breakfast. Highly recommended.

Visiting Kington as part of a relaxing weekend topped off with a local walk on the Sunday. The Arrowbank Lodge is one of the best B&B's we've stayed at. From the friendly welcome, to the double bedroom and the excellent breakfast our stay there contributed to an idyllic weekend. Highly recommended and we'll certainly be back.

We stayed for two nights whilst walking a section of Offa's Dyke - although the weather was fairly awful Jill and John made us extremely welcome, our room was large, comfortable and spotlessly clean with pretty views over the water meadows. John's breakfasts were a delight (particularly the potato cakes!) and Jill's knowledge of the local area meant we enjoyed... More

Warm hospitality from moment we arrived. Large, superbly appointed bedroom with wide blissfully comfortable bed. David is an accomplished cook and breakfast set us up well for our second day's walk along Offa's Dyke. Arrowbank Lodge is recommended unreservedly.

We stayed for one night at this lovely B&B at the end of our walk on the Mortimer Trail.Located off the main street and by the river, the setting is rural and peaceful. When we arrived, we were greeted by Jill who immediately offered us tea and homemade scones, which were delicious and most welcome after our day's walking. Jill was... More

My wife and I stayed for two nights in July. We were in Kington for some walking and to see what inspired Mike Oldfield to write the album Hergest Ridge back in 1974. Arrowbank Lodge turned out to be the perfect B&B. We stayed in the Master bedroom which had one of the best beds I ever slept in! The... More
