We ordered the following: 1 sharing platter (to be served as a main) 1 nachos (to come with the mains) 1 jacket potato with prawns 1 fish and chips 1 chicken salad First to arrive was the sharing platter, closely followed by the nachos. No sign of other meals. After the sharing platter and nachos had been finished - 30...

We stayed overnight at this pleasant hotel on the harbour at Cowes. Well positioned for ferries and routes to the rest of the island. We ate an evening meal there which was very nice and well priced. The room was nicely decorated warm and clean. I mentioned warm as it was a cold blowy night that we stayed. And above...

Back for a second stay at the Fountain Inn. It's very close by a project of mine and on this occasion I had room 21, top of the house and a great view across the red jet ferry terminal and the estuary. Whilst there seems at this present time to be a heating problem in the hotel. Electric fancy everywhere,...

This was one of the worst places I have stayed in. It is close to the ferry terminal so that was good, but that is all that was good. The heating was broken so the rooms were freezing. The rooms were also tiny with fogged up single glazed windows. The decor was tired and tatty. The crockery was dirty. The...

The price we paid was £80 for the night but i think that was over priced for the quality. The room was small and in our bathroom there was still toothbrushes in the bathroom...

On this occasion we ate inside and it wasn't particularly busy but the tables hadn't been wiped from the previous diners and there was actually still some...

Have stayed here 3 times over the last over the last two years and have never been disappointed. The rooms although not big are clean, nicely furnished and the beds are very comfortable. Have always found the staff friendly and chatty.... Even on New Years morning when clearly suffering from a late New Year's Eve partying. The hotel is conveniently...

We arrived at the hotel first impressions VERY well used. We went upstairs to our room really cold, turned up the heating after a while went down stairs to see when the heating would come on. We were informed that it was broken and given a blow heater. our room was in need of a refurbishment as is the whole...
